That has been the plan all along. When this is done there will be no telling between a real one and the Veepy model. That’s my goal.

Finalized the vents with accuracy! Because every tiny detail counts.

The smaller parts will have alignment nubs. Everything will fit in its place with little fuss.

This kit is made so you can glue REAL rivets in place. As you can see, the rivets will span across walls. 3 walls in some instances!

So this is conceptual at this point, and won't make it into the final model, but I like the idea of implementing the hinges like the original... and the magnet pockets with magnets would snap everything closed in perfect alignment... Maybe some day.

I assure you, it very much is not. They have modified the file based upon measurements and pictures I sent them, and it still missed the mark.

Original plan was for something the size of Creality CR-10 for the largest parts and any quality resin printer for the smaller pieces.

I think by the time this is completed and fully print tested it may end up meeting that goal.

The first full printout has been completed with extraordinary help from @el _rocketeer (Instagram). It has been a godsend to work with him and he brings so much expertise to the project.
I’ve already learned a lot from studying the print and many many changes have been made with a few more still in the works.

The most recent files will address several issues we have identified, and also reshapes the hull somewhat for more accuracy and “flow”.
