Man, that thing is a beautiful beast. I've been tempted in the past to plunk down the $$$ for it, but I think it's just too much for me to handle.

Anyway, awesome build you've done.

...since the first Version (37inch) of Randy Coopers SD often does look a little bit chubby and stubby i thought reducing the height of the side walls/trenches, and sanding down the outer edges of the Hull may give the model a little bit more of a slim and sleek looking ship.
it virtually makes the ship appear a little bit longer i think.

the 8 main turrets are glued on now permanently, and also installed the garbage chute and added some greeblies here and there...

also wasnt very happy with the original Randy Cooper SD Nose Tip, so i grinded off most of it, and altered it a little bit more to my taste. i wanted to have more detail and undercut.
...looks a little bit odd with the red rings, but after painting it should be fine ;)

...whats looking like large open gaps on the hull underside is just the translucent superglue. should be fine when the model is painted.

also worked out some plans for a reasonable "museum like" pedestrial stand for the Star Destroyer.

just in case some of you guys might wonder why something has changed here.
i realized that page 5 of this thread became a little bit messy and got horrible loading times because of me putting up too many and too large photos.
so i removed some photos and reduced the size of some.

I am totally gobsmacked by your work! Stunning!

Sadly, the RC Star Destroyer is way above my skill level. I’d love to have one!
