ANNOUNCEMENT:

Version 1.05 is uploaded, at:
Jetpack 3D Printable Kit

Here are the release notes.
(V 1.04 was an internal release).

V 1.05
-Refined and reshaped center hull to be slightly narrower, and with properly angled flanges where they meet the tanks.
-More accurate "eye" orifices at the top of the hull.
-Minor dimensional modification to top Radiator to fit the new hull. Old radiator will fit with very minor sanding.
-Note that the upper and middle tank sections now have different rivet pattern hole locations due to narrower hull. All other parts not mentioned here are identical to V 1.03.
-Printed Parts (Main circular vent, and center Radiator "Part 3") are identical to previous version V1.03, without changes.
-THIS IS LIKELY THE FINAL RELEASE, unless any major issues are found.

Any updates on the "mini" version for those of us looking to make one in smaller scale?

Version 1.10 is uploaded, at:
Jetpack 3D Printable Kit

V 1.10 (February 5, 2021)
-Reshaped the center hull: front curvature is more accurate, and the rear slope was completely redone.
-Top arch at the rear of the hull was redone, and is now accurate.
-Radiator has been enlarged front to back for the new hull, and it fills the top hull opening much better now.
-The tail piece has been entirely redesigned and is now slightly smaller and accurate.
-The two orifices on the rear egg have been reshaped for greater accuracy.
-Strengthened the hull flanges, especially towards the bottom near the waist, with a thick "weld line".
-The openings on the sides of the tanks are now closely contoured to meet the flanges for a cleaner fit and finish.
-Booster engines have been modifed so that the inside walls are now flat and smooth as they should have been.
-Many parts were saved in higher resolution (poly count), always trying to keep under 50MB limit of most slicers.
-Note that all tank sections now have different rivet hole pattern and assembly hole locations due to the modified hull.

If you search Shapeways the 1/4 scale parts are there... ( v 1.10-1.11 only)

While I'm not a fan of the Rocketeer, I really can appreciate the craftsmanship and heart that went into this project. To offer something so detailed, complex and large is very generous of you.

ANNOUNCEMENT.

I am moving on to other projects, and as such this should be the last version release of the Veepy Jetpack. This version closes the gaps on some small innacuracies and brings this on par with screen used packs.

Thanks to all for following this project for an entire year. Enjoy your builds!

Version 1.20 is uploaded, at:
Jetpack 3D Printable Kit

V 1.20 (February 24, 2021)
-More reshaping of the hull, including a tweaked "forehead" bump to match original using detailed reference photos.
-The main circular vent is slightly smaller now, matching dimensions obtained from the original.
-Tank blisters are slightly smaller now, matching dimensions obtained from the original.
-Radiator sharp tips have been rounded off slightly like the original. Will prevent accidental snaps after printing as well.
-Minor tweak to the tailpiece to allow for even more clearance on the rear flap rods when fully folded.
-Main hull now also included in high resolution STL for slicers that can handle larger than 50MB files.
