QMX seems to have more than met their estimated shipping dates for the ST11 Phasers ... hopefully this bodes well for sonics in our future.
Also, since this thread has been so focused on posters, I'm reminded that I still have an Inception poster set aside for you.
This is so crap. Why obtain a license, announce a number of eagerly awaited product then do absoloutly nothing about it for a year? 'They're working on it'... how long does that take? Well, the MFX took a long time to come to fruition, so maybe its par of the course for Sonic replicas. Although there is one notable exception to that rule...
The guy who was in charge of this line is no longer with QMX. I'd be surprised to see any of these props materialise tbh.
I don't know how QMX is still in business, with their record of vaporware.
This item has been a little tricky getting into production. It is safe to say that this product will most likely not be coming to market until late this year or early next year.
Okay, so it's not looking good. :lol
Being somewhat new to the world of sonics, is there any other hobby-based "company" doing the Eleven sonic?
EDIT: Not that it mean's anything, but I got this response from QMx:
I wont hold my breath. I really hope someone else is still working on machining these puppies.
I meant was the release delayed for all sonics, or only the 11th because it's the most complex (although it would make sense for his to be released first, they could go chronologically, and release the Tom Baker Classic first and so on). I mean, they might as well release the Tom Baker- surely that's the easiest to mass produce and get going, without to many preproduction nightmares- I mean, this has been replicated by many, so i'm sure the designs are floating around.
But where is the market? Everybody who wants one has already got one.
There is no excuse; why give a license to such an unenthusiastic licensee? It's totally counterintuitive to all parties involved.
