Another option would be to drill it out, meaning to destroy the one that is stuck but once it’s removed replace it with a new one.
Here is the photo from side.I would first let it soak in some penetrating oil over night
Another trick I have used in the past is using the eraser on the end of a pencil, applying pressure with that to unscrew it
If you could post some pictures of it close up to confirm it’s sitting flush, I find it hard to believe if it’s sitting flush it’s cross threaded..
It's now midnight. But I will do the solution you've suggested after sleep.Where do you live?
Thank you again. I'll find the way to free the bezel and collar.Another thing you could do is go to the hardware store, get a rubber spacer (cylinder) and run a bolt through that with some washers.
Insert that into the bezel, and tighten it down with a nut, this squishes and tightened the rubber spacer inside the bezel
Then try and spin the bolt with a wrench to break it free
Here’s a quick diagram

Keep us posted, we will celebrate once you get it freeThank you again. I'll find the way to free the bezel and collar.
The bezels on mine were tricky as well. Cut my fingers up on the episode 1 ones.
Did you try what Halliwax diagrammed? That seems like the last bet without having to replace the bezel if one is obtainable.Thank you for all the support, but the bezel and accent pieces are still stuck on their place despite using all the solutions you have presented. It is as if they're superglued on and I never used glue at all.
Perhaps I may have screwed down both parts while assembling it, yet I still wonder if the thread is damaged and cross threaded.
I am really sorry for bringing this up multiple times.
