Rivets are coming but as seen in the previous page the size of the TPM rivet might not be correct for the SS valve.
Either would be easy to modify to ensure a proper fit.
Which Gen of the Tusken Slayer is this?
Another option is that lighthouse leds sells a diffused 5mm violet led. I have a few on order. Seems like a good in-between. The shipping is always the most expensive part - which I’d thought of it before my last order.
Edit to add: I’m working on a chassis. I don’t know who else if anyone is, but I hope to have time to refine it this week. I wish the AOtC end-cap also had vents, but it’s not the end of the world. Using the covertech as a screw allows for a removable battery setup that’s easy peasy.

Gen 2, I believe. I'll have to double-check.
Makes me wonder which finish people prefer. Of course, the OT sabers range from chrome to brushed to heavily weathered, but the PT sabers went from brushed (or painted resin) to almost exclusively polished/chromed in AOTC and ROTS.
Some people have said that the Obi TPM/AOTC saber looks a bit too much/overdone when polished up, but I rather like both looks.
By the way, there are a few other mods one could employ to move the AOTC version of the salt-shaker kit closer to the real deal, like painting the black parts to match the TPM version, painting the aluminum ring section in-between the pommel cubes black, etc.
Polishing the aluminum and adding the violet rivet is enough for me, though.
Some extremists might even want to re-machine areas like the grip cutout to better match the shapes and angles of the TPM hero.

Personally I prefer the look of the aluminum on the TPM, those chrome stunts and what MR did for the AOTC Obi is definitely too much. The AS SS has a nice shine out of the box that I don't think it needs more.

One of the two SS I bought was more polished than the other one. Not sure if that was an accident or intentional, but it made it easier to decide which one to make into AOTC configuration 
Yeah, the raw finish is already quite nice, the sharp edges aside. I just gave the ROTS version a light pass with the steel wool--just enough to give it the slight grain/texture.
