Here's a weird and random question. Without looking this up, or pulling up the film, just going off of memory. What color are the lasers that the Rebel Alliance fighters shoot?
I would have said red as well. But I'm playing Rogue Squadron III. And suddenly I realize the lasers are orange/red.
So I look at the movie. And sure enough. They're orange/red.
Snowspeeder's have red/pink lasers. But X, Y, A-wings and the Falcon all have a orange/red laser.
Is it weird that we remember them using red lasers? I wonder if that's because that's the color used in a lot of video games. And I think maybe some promotional artwork doesn't use the the correct color. And the Hasbro Power of the Force line used pink lasers for all Rebel ships. And I the modern films they have red lasers.
Since the bright core/darker edge (with a bit of blur) method of animating them creates a gradiant, I don't see how you can split hairs between red and orange. They're both.

That's true. It's closer to a dark orange to an orange/red out on the edges. But it's still predominantly orange. The new films just straight up make them red, with a white core now. They look very different now.
It also still blows me away how authentic Factor 5 managed to get Rogue Squadron II and III and that was 2002 and 2003.
Pretty much dead on. I remember watching The Book of Boba Fett with my 19yo nephew and after it was over he said "Well it wasn't great, but it was Star Wars. I guess..." That's how I've felt about Kenobi and BoBF. We're at a point where if it's not totally awful *cough*Sequels*cough* we count it as a win.
That must have been from Annie Leibovitz photo shoot for Vanity Fair in 2005 .. but neither Maul nor Bies made the cover.
So, they had taken multiple photos with different characters?

My guess is... Ray Park and Temura Morrison were not readily available the day of the shoot, so they used stand-ins. Don Bies volunteered to wear the Jango outfit. Ended up not being used for the final photo, apparently.
My take was always that some members of the crew had used the escape pods, and it was implied the Empire destroyed them. Just another setup piece to tell us that the Empire was mean and nasty.
