So I recently did some Google-fu to find these pictures of what seems to be a hero prop that went up for auction awhile back. They're pretty good quality and I haven't seen them posted so I thought I'd share. I only found them by going to the url of an image that had originally been posted by PropStore which wasn't on their page for the old listing anymore but still popped up on google. Then noticing the url for that one image had the title "IMG08" and manually inputting the url for each image. Anyway, here they are:

IFA you are correct. I believe I have handled this exact piece, and that's exactly what they do.
If I remember correctly, the counter ONLY has 999 on it. Pulling the trigger did not decrement the counter. The one I disassembled also had a blank firing vektor inside. There were inscriptions along the barrel that said it was blank firing. Manufactured that way. At the time I examined it, there was a crack in the main cowling and there was a piece of velcro at the bottom of the part where the magazine goes in. I cannot say for certain if it has been restored since then, or if this is the OTHER known live fire hero.
To my knowledge there were two, but there may have been more.

What upper piece is moving while firing ? I can't imagine how it is working ... Or if someone have a picture from the movie ... Thank you.

The photo with the ruler was a huge help for scaling a 3D model I'm working on. Does anyone have any other measurements, specifically any width measurements would be very helpful. I'm assuming a resin casting should be close enough in size if anyone can measure the frame width, barrel inner diameter, and grip width.

I'm working on a 3D model myself, so I'd be interested in this as well. For what it's worth, I've done some playing around to find the sizes of the hardware to use, based on what's readily available on McMaster-Carr's website. I don't know how accurate they ultimately are, but they look about right to my eye and I figure any prop would have used readily available hardware.

Here's what I came up with:

I forget if Iv'e said this before, but I'm pretty sure those hemispheres under the cap head screws at the back of the gun are plastruct parts. I don't konw which ones, but if you're struggling to size the photos for reference, that info might help.

SOMEWHERE in a box in my workshop, I have a handful of the cap head screws that are used to hold those big disks on the sides in place. Those screws have letters and numbers stamped into them, and I was able to source the same screw. I'll see if I can dig them up, but it's a long shot as I have no idea where they are.
