Yeah, even at $13, they can't seem to rid of all the Sam ones. They can sell the Flynn and Rinzler ones like crazy though.

No kid ever bought one, but we Saber Smiths (myself being guilty of it) bought them by the dozen for the sound boards.

Sorry you guys are having issues finding devices. Here in NYC, I have been finding Discs in the usual stores (Toys R Us, Target, etc) in groups of 20-30 on the walls. Batons are less common, but still I tend to find 3-8 of them at most places.

HAHA! That's so funny you posted that. I was already working on an upgrade mod for mine last night. Already have the "C" ring cut out and testing new LEDs. I'm incorporating a DC power jack so I can have it constant on without draining batteries. I'll post pics later this weekend.

check disney stores for the batons if you have one near you, plus all their tron stuff is 40% off....atleast in AZ for sure

It's only about 1/4" wider than a blu-ray and has a real deep back to hold 5 discs. The front just flips open like a cover. Only has 6 bulbs in it: 3 on the outer ring. 3 in the inner "c."

Just finished the lights on my sam and waah they are heaps brighter than Rinzler , although it could be that the Rinzler disc is on low battery.

Ps to anyone: would just one battery be able to maintain tue brightness of the lights? I know the battery life will be shorter at least
