To confirm, are these still using the basic batteries (AG13/LR44 1.5v coin buttons) found in the stock disc, or is there a way to remove that battery case and insert a single/few Li-Ion AA sized batteries for much longer life and recharge options? Since we don't really know what you have setup on the Full Kit for power drain (70 LEDs at 20mah each kills normal batteries Fast!), that would be helpful info if you have a number in mind already.

Also, am I insane, or on the Full Kit are the 4 small tabs found just within the outer ring edge (the 4 little straight lines on each side of the disc) lighting up in these pics? If so.. NICE addition!

im glad im sticking to 1 order of the full kit. depending on final price I would be interested in another one for rinzler. the finished kit looks awesome!!!!!!!

The disc is lit pretty solid, just as shown in the pics, no ripple effect. I think that would take some pretty intricate programing.

Does it matter what Deluxe Identity Disk we pick up? I picked up 2 Sam's but I figured I was going to be gutting them so it wouldn't matter...

In that last photo the disc looks super shiny - did you sand/polish it up?

Are you positive that Clu's disc is yellow/yellow? Because in a lot of trailers it's yellow/white when he's on his light bike. I'm not sure if this may have changed in the movie, I can't remember.

SI, anything along the lines of power consumption info for the Full Kits or if moding the power supply from these little Button Batteries to something more AA-like will be an option?
