Are you positive that Clu's disc is yellow/yellow? Because in a lot of trailers it's yellow/white when he's on his light bike. I'm not sure if this may have changed in the movie, I can't remember.

to my eye it looks like all of the discs have a white outer ring with CLU's inner ring being yellow, Rinzler's inner ring being orange, Sam/Quorra being more of a teal blue (rather than standard LED blue) and Kevin's being white.

the color ring spills a bit into the color of the outer ring with the effect of making the outer ring look to be a lighter version of the inner ring color ( CLU's is whitish yellow, Rinzler's is whitish Orange etc...)

anyway, that's my two tokens worth

I believe you are correct. I was basing mine off the image below. But in the movie I'm pretty sure it does illuminate white on the outer ring so I may change this.

SI, anything along the lines of power consumption info for the Full Kits or if moding the power supply from these little Button Batteries to something more AA-like will be an option?

I'm actually considering a 9V battery option if I can get it to fit. I'll let you know if this works out.

Maybe even slipping 1-2(3?) 3.7v AA Li-Ions (900mah 14500's or the more powerful larger than AA 2400mah 18650's, with panels to open/close or recharge port)?

This is just too kewl, SI. I find myself very interested, especially as I've got one of Kevin Flynn's and Rinzler's discs on the way, but at the moment am kinda tapped out for prop-spending funds.

I can only hope you'll still have these available a little later down the road. Fantastic work though, dude. Helluva nice upgrade

I've seen the movie three times now and as far as I can determine, the outer ring (a.k.a. the 'blade') is always white, and the inner ring is the same as the color of the wielder. Thus white for Sam/Quorra/Kevin, orange for Clu, etc. That being said, these are custom mods, so who's to say that they couldn't be other colors? After I get a white/white, I'm looking forward to seeing what a purple/purple option looks like, especially with a white Kevin disc.

So, is this still just an interest thread, or is there an actual sales thread somewhere that I've missed?

Will there be metal collars for the 4 inner lights on the inside rings? Does the movie version have those lit? The toy has a white dot on it, so I'm not sure what it's supposed to be?
