Ahhh, merge. Good idea. I'll let this thread float around here for a couple of days and then make the request.
Sorry to raise hopes on the ice cube tray. I pulled it out and remembered that I had decided it was useless a long time ago. I should have gotten rid of it then. If I had, I wouldn't have been thinking it was close. The problem is obvious. It's a 14 cube tray. What was appealing about it was that it was the first one that I had seen with the cube molds shaped similarly to the original. I thought with a couple of slight modifications, most importantly whacking off two of the molds, I would get away with using it for a pretty close looking piece. Too bad that won't work. (Really too bad because I am sick of years of looking at old ice cube trays.) Even after cutting it down, it would be too large.
