World War Z (Pre-release)

This is an extreme example of what I complain about with most book to movie adaptations: Summarize the book in one paragraph and then write a script based on that paragraph. Only this time they summarized the book in one sentence and then shredded the paper it was written on. I saw NOTHING that I remember from the book. The only thing I can connect this to might be the rich guy who was doing the reality tv show in his fortress that got overran. I dunno. I might see this when it hits RedBox or Netflix.

Whoa whoa whoa. Those aren't exactly shamblers or even walkers. Those hordes looked like the Matrix Sentinels attacking Zion. What the h*ll am I even watching?

How dissapointing; such a fantastic book.

What are you guys talking about! Sure it's not following the book but that looks intense!!

wasnt expecting to see so many zombies, waves of zombies!

*goes to watch agian*

I don't know jack about the book, but are we
COMPLETELY throwing out the Laws of Physics here ?

:facepalm

Like it's been said, HOW the HELL do we
have thousands of Zombies " swarm " like
Matrix Sentinels ???

They friggin' look like their flying for
Gods sake.

:confused

Balls of zombies?! Nothing like the book, by Mel Brooks son, Max?!...Worse zombie movie ever.

Aw man that looks ******** awful, how do you manage to screw up such an awesome book?

This would work better as a tv series , do it like quantum leap a totally new story every week, hell even cast scott bakula he would be awesome in it.

I'll be looking forward to the fan made film that will inevitably happen now and that will be awesome

There has to be a dozen threads were you say, "Guys this looks good quit complaining".

Then a few pages later you will recognize the festering stench and realize it's not the zombies but the script and directing and admit it's crap...:unsure

so they bought the rights to the book... and then made it like every other zombie movie ever made?

I like to give things the benifit of the doubt, sometimes I'm proven wrong but not very often.

So they knew this was all kinds of messed up so they delayed this to do reshoots and work on the script and THIS is what they came up with? This is better? Holy crap what was it like before when they deemed it lacking?

oh...my...god...
I loved the book and I was thrilled they do a movie based on it. But what the fook was that??? *sigh*

Those "zombies" kinda remind me of the undead army in Return of the King, only they are supposed to be zombies, not ghosts.

I'm usually up for most movies, but I think I will stay home and watch Walking Dead.

Fast zombies have been scary once, and that was the 28 Days/Weeks films. Something about the walkers is just far more terrifying - whatever that is in the film, is borderline comical.
