I think it requires both a 3D blu ray player, AND a 3D TV to play the blu ray on...I may be wrong about the player, but the TV is certain....I'm not a fan of the 3D at home thing yet...I don't need to wear glasses at home to watch decent movies, nor do I need to have it all coming out of the screen at me..I can appreciate it in the cinema, for certain movies, but not back home....I don't need it...
I don't think they'd release the "collector's edition" in just the 3D format though...All of the 3D movies I've seen sold here (in Japan at least) have a disk with the 3D and a disk with the normal screen version, so they'll do that.....I suspect.

Yeah....On looking at the set they mention, it's only the 4 disk version that has the Unleashed/longer version...The normal 2 disk set will have the film as it was shown in the cinema alone....Which is a bit silly....
The 4 disk will have one disk for the 3D, one for the extended blu ray (Which will play fine on anyone's PS3 and TV), the HD version for your computer, and one DVD disk it seems...Fair enough really..
But I'll buy the 4 disk set anyway...I'd like the HD version for my iPhone anyway...

Today I was out trying on denim trucker jackets. No matter how form fitting they were, there's no sleeve room underneath my kmart X1 jacket. They'd definitely work under my BC Ethic X2 because its 1 size bigger than my usual sizes. Too bad though, I want a denim jacket under my X1! Maybe they'll work under an actual Wolverine jacket if I ever save to get one haha. Oh and I might make a dogtag at Walmart! On one of the X1 dvd menu's there's a sketch of a "Wolverine-Captain-Alpha Flight" tag which would be sweet to make

What about a denim vest (jacket without the sleeves)?
As far as my Vanson goes...6 days wait, great communication with Dan ... had the size I needed in stock, and arrived in under a week.
My flannel and denim were Thrift Store finds...cost me under $10 for both.

Looking to put together a few versions of costume for Halloween from scenes from "The Wolverine." Anyone found these items?
• black trench coat from funeral scene with correct collar, lapel and fabric
• blue denim shirt with correct pockets and stitching
• green pants with slash-cut pockets
• bluish thin-striped nylon belt with chrome buckle from shirtless scenes (looks like a black leather belt in most scenes)

Is that the one used in the film? There are several differences I can see from the photo alone......It's just a "general" raincoat right?
I have a Polo (RL) raincoat that actually does look very similar...Same cuff positioning, pocket shape and size, and collar as well actually..The seams match too....But I suspect that's the major problem....Most raincoats DO look very similar...

Is that it? I have the same pic as in the post below yours, but this one is in WAY higher resolution than mine. I can't see if yours has the same lapel (below the collar), sleeve straps, and reinforcement strip down the button hole side from the pic you posted...

Yeah....I don't believe "TheWolverine" posted the one from the movie...Just one he used...The back of the coat looks open too, the one used in the movie wasn't, plus it came to Jackman's knees (lower than), and this one barely reaches the knee....I suspect it's not the one used...
Having looked at it more, and thought about it, my Ralph Lauren does actually look like a reasonably decent match....The sleeve straps are in the right place and shape, the reinforced button hole line as well, and the lapel naturally falls open to the right look I think...It's also longer than the Claiborne here..Coming to just below my knee....The shoulder seams and the base seams are in the right place too...As well as the collar having a "two lapel" look to it at the top, near the neck....
I wouldn't bet on it being "the one"...Since they're all so close...But it's a match in looks so far....I'd need to see the rear of Wolverine's one in the movie to know more, since there is a belt, but it's a half belt location, and can be hidden, so you'd not see it in shots from the front..I need to see the back of the jacket....
But it's closer than this one..I believe..

There's one button missing on the jacket I own (a small one at the base of the coat to keep the coat closed over the knees) from Jackman's jacket...That's the only difference I can see from this photo...
I'll be visiting the Zojoji (where this scene was shot in central Tokyo) in a few weeks, once I get Darkside's new Wolverine claws...I'd planned to take this jacket and shoot the same photos I've seen online originally, but I'll make sure to take it and try and get a brighter sunny day to shoot the photos in....That should help show what I mean about it's similarity....
I'll probably take a change of gear too and take a few with the X1 jacket and jeans on....Since, you know, that IS Wolverine right? Can't miss that....I'm wondering how far they'll let me shoot in the middle of one of the biggest shrines in Tokyo (and most crowded).....But I guess we'll find out in a couple of weeks....LOL

No...Mine was bought a few years back...Although they are (strangely) the most common raincoats I've seen at the secondhand stores here in Tokyo....Not sure why..But it's nearly ALWAYS a Polo RL.....LOL

Dammit. Heron has been incommunicado for several days now after my asking them to show me the curved-sleeves version so I can decide finally which sleeve style (and also which price as a result!) to go with.
