Wolverine all day baby! Jackets, belts, claws, oh my.

It's up for order on his site now too...I opted for the print on cotton, and it works fine with a vest and jacket over the top..

As you can see, the balance still rolls a little to the purple, but it's a pretty good match to the screen used with damage....If the green was boosted a small touch it might be even closer, but it's very hard to nail it..

I feel like that may be from the cotton as opposed to flannel as well, I’ve run into that with prints from spoonflower where the same design on different slightly different fabrics looks very different.

Regular cotton shirting will always be shinier for lack of a better word than flannel due to texture, boosting the green and doing the shirt in flannel might look bang on.

Either way it’s a great replica and you nail the X-1 look

Yeah, Indy said it wasn't a problem with the pattern, on screen for a PC or phone he nailed it, but when it's printed up, it changes just slightly, so you are entirely right, it just alters it a little to appear a touch less "bright" than the film one (flannel), but I don't mind, it looks like a used version of the same shirt, dirtier and worn in, and that nails the look for me I think...It's a solid piece of work!

Proper chuffed, thanks mate!

Just wondering if OLF (Original leather facory) in canada is still making jackets? Anybody know? I sent an email to Milos but it came straight back saying the email adress was no longer in use.

Hadn't seen this pic before. Best shot of the shirt ever!

Okay, one more to add..

This isn’t a Richelieu..

It’s whatever the brand Cavill wore on Man of Steel was, the same vest/tanktop, or very close, back for Wolverine..

The inverted V over the shoulder, meaning there’s no fabric between the seams, and the ribbing running across the whole vest, as well as the thick seam lines at the next and the wide, flatter chest line too.. if he used it for Man of Steel, it might be a standard and repeated design for some company… and the shoulder strap design should help it stand out, but I’m having trouble tracking that so far..

If we can track that down we might have another vest to buy..

Also, I think this is basically what we're looking for, an Italian, narrow shouldered, ribbed fabric tank..They DO seem to have been used fairly commonly in TV shows too, like The Man In The High Castle, apparently.....It looks very, very similar to that basic shape and make......

This site has a few more useful links and ideas too...I sent him a question asking if he can narrow it down for us any....

Looks like a basic Fruit of the Loom white tank top.....I have a couple of the Zimmerli and they are basically see through
Yeah, you can see it's not a Zimmerli, and honestly, the Fruit of the Loom also, too wide on the shoulder sections so not one of those either, although, they're decent white tanks....I suspect, as I laid the case out for above, that Cavill prefers the Italian style tanks listed above and has used one of those...I've got a couple coming in so I'll get pics once those are here, but I'm expecting a close match....

I bought a Perofil and it is very very close, I think the one difference I can see is that the seam on the top of the shoulder strap is not there, but! I wonder now if that seam is so standout and clear BECAUSE it’s an alteration to the tanktop to make the shoulder strap a touch small and lift the front and back of the top higher on Cavill’s chest and back? The shirt on me sits a little lower, so taking an inch from each shoulder strap would do that perfectly! I wonder if that’s what they did? Break the shoulder, resew it in a big new seam over the top of the shoulder? It’s possible at least!
