Interest Veracity Labs - "The Princess" (Leia lightsaber) hilt Interest Thread

Another day or two and I am going to take the folks who have not responded to my message and mark them for 1 copper and lock the rest of the RG positions.

As I wrap up the assembly and begin the machining specs, I need to get accurate counts for the factory quotes, so I need folks who have not responded to weigh in, otherwise I will have to make assumptions.

remember this is NOT a locked commitment to buy. We're not doing that until everything is done and ready to ship, but we are trying to lock quantities for the quotes.

I'll make assumptions if I have not heard back.

If you have already discussed with me and you show a quantity number in bold next to your name on the first post, disregard.

If it's available, I'll claim the last number on the RG list, whatever number that ends up being. :)

I just found this thread and I am interested in a Rose Gold saber! I have been looking for a specifically Rose Gold Leia Saber for several months now and am honestly shocked I didn't find this thread sooner. Is it still possible to join this list for a quote?

So the actual functional assembly is essentially done aside from odds and ends and a bit of cleanup. Little more work to do but getting ever closer. Likely to begin machining specs (drawings) in the next week or two.

I really want to share the main button switch setup with you all, because IMO it is GLORIOUS.... I know this may be perilous because of others copying but I just have to demonstrate as compared to the shortcuts I am seeing other offerings take. Not for me. Not here. That is not how we roll.

THIS is how you do a true canon appearance while still providing advanced FX features.

Just a tiny example of the unseen engineering I am putting into this for you all.

The main button. Absolute canon. MOP top. Mechanically locked AND also the option of BLUE ILLUMINATION. Yes. This is an illuminated micro tactile.

how bloody cool is this, guys?

Alright. So for those who have not yet answered me. (Not gonna shame anyone).

tomorrow if I have not heard from you, I am going to mark your interest at 1 copper, and wrap up locking the RG placements.

Once those are locked folks will need to work out trades if they want a different number. I will not be managing that.

If you work out an amicable arrangement and message me together, I will swap you. But only if both parties agree and you have discussed prior.

post #1 has the current order.

tomorrow I will assign numbers for the remaining folks.

That's glorious! :D
I'm a stickler for static props, but illuminated button is something that I'd love to put in.

Do we have any onscreen evidence of the button glowing? Perhaps in the stunt FX version?

tough to say whether it is lighting castoff or actual illumination. (Thankfully the tactile can be illuminated or not depending on installer's preference).

this is the photo I got the idea of illumination from:

The work you've done, & are continuing to do, on this project is absolutely incredible!

Thank you

go big or go home. If it is worth doing, it is worth doing right. And I want to design a saber that not only you guys love, but that one I am proud of and would want myself.

same as we are doing with our ROTJ hero.

All of the sabers in the line we are doing will have this level of rigor. It is what Bryan and I do.
