Limited Run SIGN UP CLOSED. PRODUCTION BEGINNING! Dewy and Anakin Starkiller's Obi-wan Episode 1 saber sign up!

I realized that I never shared the final result of my work on the OWK1. I've always been obsessed with this lightsaber as a kid. To be able to work on this prop replica was a dream come true! It doesn't get any more accurate than this one thanks to the hard work of Anakin Starkiller and Dewy :) I did some (minor) modifications and some light weathering. I mimicked the paint peeling effect on the black emitter part, like on the real prop. I also aged and weathered the steel and aluminum a bit. Soon I will start on the second one I have left here.

I'll try to get them up today. I went towards the more "refined" look, not so much the weathered or shop production look which you and Excelsior captured beautifully well!

Took wayyyy too long to share these. Not as great of pics as some of you. However, here is my completed D-AS TPM hilt.

Thank you to Excelsior for some pro tips as his hilt came out exceptionally well. He replicated the hero as depicted in the pictures and references. My hilt is the "as imagined" version. So no weathering with the perfectly level emitter bezel option.

The delrin was darkened and polished with car guys blackening product applied with a 7000 grit sandpaper.

the only glue used was to fix the LED inserts into the led bezels then clipped the legs off. The face of the clear inserts were sanded with about 8000 grit sandpaper.

The pommel cubes that didn't fix tightly as is, I applied some tape to tighten the fit of the insert points.

Took medium scouring pad(gray) to brush and clean the aluminum, used mothers aluminum polish to finish the aluminum parts off.

Parker barb is one of Excelsior's production

Anyway, enough talking..

Thank you to Dan (AS) and Drew (Dewy) for making this hilt a reality. Bravo gents!!

Enjoy
