Ok, well now I just want to see him in a speedier ship with Bubs in the passenger seat, blasting Eastbound and Down.
When Din kept walking away from Grogu it reminded me of waiting for something in the microwave that might boil over. STOP WALKING AWAY just because you can’t get it out right this second, but stay near by in case you need to intervene. Eventually it’s going to end and then the poor kid is just stuck on that rock.
A lot of the drama in this one was manufactured by Din being dumb. He hesitates to leave Grogu in the safety of the classroom on Nevarro but leaves him totally unguarded on the top of this open henge?
Or he could just not put it together and it will be screen accurate now.My buddy has the lego set, and I'm really hoping he's already built it, so this isn't nagging him the whole time he's putting it together...
Isn’t Star Wars a magical place? Absolutely no one is capable of staying dead, except for stormtroopers, who are so capable of being dead that they might as well not even try anymore. All you need is a robotic ab I guess, even if you’d been dead for like at least twelve hours, and not due to blood loss either because blaster fire would certainly cauterize, so keeling over after getting shot like that would definitely have to do with hitting a major organ.
I've made the comparison before that Din is much like Leon in The Professional, good at his job, but not that bright.
I think all his many mistakes in this episode can be attributed to his judgement being off because of his concern for Grogu. He's so focused on protecting him, he makes really bad decisions. It reminded me of a news story where a Mom ran into traffic & was killed when she realized she'd forgotten her kid's asthma meds & left them in the car. The kid started having an attack, so she ran across the road to get to get van. Otherwise good intentions made moot by piss-poor decisions.
Din & Leon both are in completely new territories in their lives, & are becoming more 'human' but maybe losing their edge in the process.
I can't believe they destroyed the Razor Crest. That was awesome. OMG. I love that ship but it was awesome.
I bought two. They are awesome. Totally worth it and I am still glad I bought them.
While I am on board with you about the constant resurrections, I'm guessing for brevity's sake they brought Fennec back into the story rather than have to introduce a new character. Plus it was set up at least when they showed Fett approaching her in an earlier episode so it wasn't completely out of left field that he could have healed her. It was left open ended enough that she could have lived.Isn’t Star Wars a magical place? Yeah, and literally ALL the ships do not work in our realm of physics. A parsec doesn't work like that. I could go on...
I can let go after a few minutes of Din not finding his jet pack, and I can have Vulcan-like logic myself. It's called suspending your imagination.
Starting to get a feeling you just really don't like any type of SW, my dude.
