Thanks! It is fun to see the N-1 in different colours. White is quite plain but it works.Excellent work!
Love that color scheme. Looks much better than the bare metal one
The white on chrome thing was an idea I just needed to see through. I'm glad the salt mask technique worked. If I had to do this again I would peel a little bit more of the white off here and there, especially around the skirts.Yep, same here: love the color and the wear & tear effects (those glowing engines are a thing of beauty)
When I saw your first post, I thought to myself "white on chrome?"But I have to admit that you've pulled it off!!
Thanks! I think the warm colour works well with the white/metal colour scheme. Those amber LEDs are gorgeous.

Thanks! The N-1 is a very durable design, I think it can sport pretty much any colour and still retain its elegance.Looks great! I love seeing variations on this bird.
Thanks! There was some detours building this but it all paid off in the end. I'm very pleased with this one.Really great model and results![]()
Actually I think you went from the Rolls Royce of star fighters and turned it into a muscle car. That thing looks mean! Thanks! The N-1 is a very durable design, I think it can sport pretty much any colour and still retain its elegance.
If the original yellow TPM version is the Roller, then I think this is indeed somewhat meaner.Actually I think you went from the Rolls Royce of star fighters and turned it into a muscle car. That thing looks mean!

This was close to getting thrown in the bin. Never, ever have I repainted a model like this but there is a first for everything. I'm so glad it worked. Thanks!Really nice finish on that ..all the repairs and repaints really paid off (2thumsup)
Thanks! Someone said in a comment to one of the photographs I've posted of this that the N-1 reminded him of the SR-71 Blackbird. Thinking what the N-1 would look like in the SR-71 colours, flat black with the red stripes, it instantly felt like sure, it'd work.Congratulations again on this build!
Love the white paint job! And you are right, the design is extremely durable in terms of taking different colours and even mods to the ship.
Oh man, you must! I'm very much looking forward to seeing a thread for your colourful trio. On Instagram the photographs are just too small to fully appreciate all the details.I may have to open up a thread on the ones I am working on right now after all
Thanks for taking us along for the ride!
