Cool, I wasn't sure how shiny you were looking for. I'm sure I don't have as much experience as others, but I've used the Rub 'n Buff wax-based products to get a duller metal look. You're probably familiar with those as well, though.

How did you plan on weathering the brass paint, if you use it? I know clear coats bring down the shine.

I might try a grey paint thinned down. I'll have to see how the whole thing looks in the daylight, which usually the Phalanx is situated.

Getting back to this. I'm unsatisfied with how the rear ammo chute 'bends' so I'm going to redesign the back part soon. In the mean time, I worked on making decals/stickers for the main unit.
