Well, they did have that one pumpinkhead looking monster that fell into the trap when Edwin was running... When Isabel shot and missed?

Pretty sure it wasn't a hunting alien but an alien to hunt.

That thing was an alien of some sort to hunt which did make the preserve bit work a little more but, wasnt that alien killed by the fishbourn charchter I thought he shot it because, a second later brodey turns around and there he is standing behind him with somekind of alien weapon?

That alien looked like species 8472 from Star Trek

One of my favorite parts is where the group stumbles upon the hunters lair, and it's all calm and quite. They meet the P1S and it's still somewhat calm...then all hell breaks loose! Guns a blaze, the P1S flips out and snaps, and the new breed jumps in and shots like crazy!

I love it how it went from a 2.0 on the rickter scale to a 12 on the scale in seconds!

Saw the movie Saturday, absolutely loved it, best since P1 without a doubt. I just hope a full R rated version comes out on the Bluray. 8/10 for me.

The P1 in this movie had real character. I really felt like there was a "person" in there. That's quite an accomplishment.

The cloaks sparking during the impacts of the fight between the Preds was great.

Favorite shot: the Pred decloaking outside the derelict ship.

Yeah I noticed that as well. The P1S had some perceivable depth to him. This was noticeable even with the short screen time granted him.

One of my favorite scenes in the film was of Royce returning to the captive 'classic' the second time around in order to question him on the whereabouts of the ship.

When the Predator raised his head to look at Royce and I caught a glimpse of his eyes, it took my breath away.

You could see in his eye that there was something there. There was no mistaking it, you...we, were seeing a sentient, intelligent being. Yet at the same time the eyes still held that “Feral” aspect of the P1S's nature, which was evident when Royce cut him down.

Instead of kissing Royce's feet out of gratitude the PPS immediately, almost reflexively took Royce in a throat hold...That **** made me jump out of my seat! I was like
“Oh ****! Preddy's gonna **** Royce up!!!!”

The P1S's body english was also good, it was clear the two were activly 'communicating' on some level.

Yeah the P1S was intelligent, no doubt about that and honorable to boot. I was impressed at how the P1S didn't hesitate in giving Royce the ship. However, I feel that the P1S's honor and intelligence shouldn't be taken for granted, a guy just can't get him out of a pinch and expect to all buddy, buddy with him, he's still very much dangerous.

Saw predators today I am not gonna ramble on about everything because its been said and I know how people hate to read too much text... o_O

I liked it 7/10 I originally did think that was the predator first concept chasing the bitch ass serial killer (Topher) though I realized it was just an alien.

These predators were nothing special to me. If Mr. Black was such a bad ass he would not have got his ass handed to him.

I did like the predators though. My favorite being Tusky yeh.. he was blown up by ****** looking fire o_O

Favorite human characters were the Russian guy and Isabelle.

And for the first time I did feel scared for a couple bits watching a predator movie. Specially Danny Trejos part.. I was like aaaw sheit.

Last since I had a hunch that Topher was a serial killer because I think it was mentioned in the first predators thread I was like aaw noo man. When Isabelle decided to stay with Topher.

In this movie I did feel something for the characters any other predator movie I couldn't give a rats ass if they died. But this one I really wanted alot of them to survive but I knew that wasn't happening. And I didn't give a **** that all the predators died they kinda peeved me off. To me they were more monster like but still bad ass. I wanted P1s to kick ass but eh. Either way I am going to keep it short I know minds are starting to drift. Good Movie Though.

I still liked the way the predators LOOKED though but nothing was different about their attitude.

Since so many others have posted good reviews on the movie, I can only say my thoughts briefly.....

I did like the movie. I did totally hate Mr. Black's head sculpt.

I know a lot of people didn't like the Mr. Black...and when watching the film, I noticed how they lingered in loving detail on the P1 in long close ups, and the SBP face was revealed quickly, briefly, and in poor light. So those who didn't like the new Pred didn't really have the design forced down their throats, if that makes sense? That's how I felt. I was surprised by how little we saw of the new guy in detail. I think it was a good way to get in the bad bloods without offending the fanbase. Basically, they managed to up the ante with a big bad new critter, but made the classic pred a hero. Pretty friggin smart.

I think its cool how they seperated clans with different facial features like the crazy man said its like comparing dogs and wolves the same but differant.

Yeah, good call on that ! :D

I thoroughly enjoyed the film and thought it was a helluva lot better than AVP-R. Then again, it's no difficult feat to beat AVP-R...

To me, Predators had a lot of potential and it lived up to most of it. It was enjoyable, and a lot of the moments made me feel as if I was experiencing the franchise for the first time. When Danny Trejo was shot by Isabelle and "help me" played on afterwards, I nearly crapped my pants! Overall, it had its scary and unnerving moments. The designs were great and should prove to be used in many collectibles over the next few years. The movie itself, also great.

I'd give it a 9/10. I loved it, thought it was fantastic, and was happy for the character to finally get a good movie to its credit, but it was missing that extra push to really make it shine. Still, maybe that unfinished feeling will be fixed by seeing it again. Or, perhaps, a hopeful sequel. Either way, you can add another psyched fan to the list of those who are pro-"Predators"!

Well I couldnt convince the wife to go with me so I had to fly solo on this one but thats ok as I didnt have the junk food police with me... :D

I mean c'mon...large Carmel Corn...Large drink and a new Pred movie....it doesnt get better than that! :p

Overall I gave it 8/10 and liked it very much.

I have to lump myself in with the other reviews as I dont have anything new to add at this point. I do hope for a sequel and as Stan Lee would say...

'Nuff said!

I really liked the movie, but I hate when people mess with the way predators look. I realize it was a diff type of predator none the less I didn't like they way they looked. I thought they looked stupid, I was happy there was an original predator there and I did like the predator fight. I didn't like the "wild" predator masks...but I'll get over it and see it 7 more times!!! :p :D

only 1 question, remember the trailer? at the last sence that alot of laser targeting adren? i thought there will be more predator! :D

Someone correct me if I'm wrong, but I believe Rob Rod put that in there specifically for the trailer, and the trailer alone.

New guys two cents. I gave it a low rating only because it needed another push. The movie to me was " readable" and in the 6 seconds they gave fishes first lines without the helmet on. "what the **** are you?" i swear to god i thought he was gunna respond, " im morpheus!"

Lol I was going to do the same. I thought he was going to give one of them The red pill or the blue pill.
