ROTS Obi-Wan is a very underrated saber. I cant wait to see what sort of version they use in the Disney plus series. Hopefully an amalgam of ROTS and ANH.
That short stubby one hanging on his belt, is most likely a rubber stunt.I'm sure you all know this, but I thought I'd bring it up. I was watching the ROTS BTS stuff a couple of days ago, & that was where they were showing that they had perfected the process of chroming rubber. They were showing an Anakin saber & bending it pretty significantly.
Could that be what we're seeing? A chromed rubber stunt?
Without a doubt. There's a mark on one of the pommel cube faces.
Right. I'm just wondering if the brown coloring is a result of being rubber, instead of being resin or metal. That short stubby one hanging on his belt, is most likely a rubber stunt.
Hmmm, interesting thought.Right. I'm just wondering if the brown coloring is a result of being rubber, instead of being resin or metal.
They definitely are! Just at slightly different angles.
Looking at the picture from the book, the grip has a slight curved taper going from wide point at the top to more narrow at the bottom(looking at center row section). Is that from the picture page having lens distortion/page bending or is it in the actual prop?
I'll have one later this year
Oooh! Has it?I believe it was already identified in another thread here. The part is a kind of screw with the face machined down.
