Nike MAG replicas (V2 and V3 only)

All I see when I look at quality pictures of the V3's is stripes. That fabric is so stripey it's ridiculous. But that alone wouldn't keep me from buying them. The real deal killer (for now) is that the EL is dim. That's REALLY disappointing. They shouldn't look good only in a dark room. No one needs **90** hours of run-time. Not even 20. 10 hours would be PLENTY. No one will wear their shoes longer than that without having an opportunity to charge them.

So many people have talked with this David guy, or "know" him or whatever... seems to me like it wouldn't be impossible to get him to re-visit the electronics and adjust or swap something out to get brighter EL for a reasonable amount of time. We're all under the impression that these shoes are getting made slowly, not already being cranked out by the hundreds/thousands, so switching out an inverter or whatever it takes should be totally do-able. Can someone talk to David about this?

As awesome as the shape and splatter and all that look on the V3's, $600 is a hell of a pill for dim EL.

I was trying to get photos of the electronics myself, but they haven't responded yet. I would love to see the connections ect. before they are put in the shoes. She has only told me that they use a 600mah battery.

Also I have no clue about you guys but my battery life isn't anywhere near 4 days. I haven't done a full charge yet, but I need to charge them already after a few hours the first time.

So my US7 arrived today. Barring a couple of VERY minor flaws, they are perfect. As an owner of a few pairs of RD mags, I must say, I'm very impressed!

Everything @Jedifyfe talked about in his comparison video I can wholeheartedly agree with. They are scarily good replicas & genuinely as close as you're going to get to the RD's without actually buying them. They even smell similar!

In terms of manufacturing, every material feels just one small notch down from those which Nike has used on the RD. Yes the EL is slightly dimmer & the LED's in the heel cup a tad more diffused, but all in all, I'm happy, very happy. Hopefully the niggles such as the EL can be sorted somewhere in the production run.

In terms of sizing, the US7 feel slightly bigger, by maybe a half size than my RD US7 but not quite as large as an RD US8 that I owned previously.

My one major gripe is the main material's ribbing, it is rather prominent in certain lighting & when you compare it to the RD which have virtually no ribbing, I do wonder why they could get so close in a lot of areas, but not so much in this major one.

Don't however let this put you off buying them, while still expensive, for me, they wipe the floor with the V2 and while not completely accurate to the movie shoe, they are replicas of the 2011 RD & bloody great ones at that!

I'll have huge respect for the person that first attempts to mod these in any way, I can't see it being easy tearing these suckers apart, but to be honest, once you have these in your hand, I'm not sure you'd want to...

So my tracking still says it's at customs in Ohio. Is there a way to see if they were ceased? I emailed DHL to get a more accurate answer.

I found and have been communicating to a guy that actually went to designer school for shoes and the other day, found a product in my local Spotlight that might just hold the answer to how the uppers are put together. I am sort of keep to do some R&D here so if anyone thinks this is worth a new thread, let me know.
Defenetly need another thread on this (post me a @ RVLF if you create it).
I would share some of my stuff here too if needed.

;)

I have found a way to fix the el problem but IDK if anyone is brave enough to unglue the clears and do this, If anyone is brave enough to try tell us how it goes!
https://youtu.be/mhzTz7uFaEI?t=2m45s *Video is pre skipped to the part on how to fix and about the el*

The main EL problem folks have is that it's not bright enough. This video is in regards to how to fix delaminated spots. Just clarifying this for folks expecting to see some explanation as to how to make the EL brighter like I was.

Sweet my US7 should be shipping soon according to Rebecca , which carrier did they use to ship ? And did you get any customs fees?

The approval from @NickyMabbs and @Jedifyfe is enough for me, I'm gonna have to get a pair, I really shouldn't, but, must, have...
That's what i exactly said to my mind, with the video of Brad and knowing how fanatic about the shoes and into details he is, his feekback convinced me to buy these even if i would never buy a normal pair of shoes for 600$ but i just had to get them since i dream to have them when i was a kiddo.

I just can't decide wether to get the size MJF wore for display only, or my actual size so I can wear them now and then (UK 11).

JUST DO IT :lol

Yeah that is a tough one based on the cost. I bough a few pair of the V2s, but one pair of these cost more than 2 pair of V2, so decisions, decisions.

I will be getting these, just not sure when and my first pair will US7. I normally wear US10.
