Nike MAG replicas (V2 and V3 only)

They don't have anymore in my size so I have to wait an estimated 5-7 days for a different size 9 to be made since the one they made for me had the glue stains and misaligned Nike indentation on the side by the check

I'm out of the woodwork just like those who swore a V3 would never exist - but in all seriousness these V3s look awesome. The $600 price is still steep but it beats paying for a pair of authentics.

So here are a few pics of the V3's next to my modded V2's. The V3's are a US12 but fit much bigger than my US13 V2's. Interesting, because the midsole on the V3 is smaller than the V2, must be more room behind the heel cup. As Jedi said earlier, the EL panels are much dimmer. I think that if someone were brave enough to change the resistors on the LED's, you might be able to reduce the power going to the LED's thus brightening the EL panels.
The box was perfect, but it did not contain any of the literature with the exception of the metal nike/time machine license plate. There are a few manufacture imperfections on the shoes, but nothing too crazy. Now I just need to make a glass display case for these. (more pics of that in the future) FullSizeRender (7).JPGFullSizeRender (14).JPGFullSizeRender (12).JPGFullSizeRender (10).JPG

So basically we are paying just for the soles and uppers really if the lights are not even that bright.
bit of a bummer for $600.
Guess it will still need some DIY then.
At least the tongue is longer :)
My guess is the inverter is too weak. If it was a battery issue, then the LEDs would usually suck the most power. In this instance, the LEDs seem fully powered, as you are saying maybe over powered.
Only way to find out would be open up and disect.
Maybe a resistor might do the job.

That might sound crazy but, I think YOUR V2 looks better than the V3 :rolleyes
The toebox is really the thing that gives this shoe a better overall shape to my eyes.
For the tongue, you should put some vinyl tongue on these so they wouldn't getting damaged by the velcros and friction with the straps ;)

well if you ever want to let me know ..... my pair of jedifyfe modded mags get looks and questions all the time (my wife hates when i wear them ... lol)

Thanks guys. I'm guessing the spot on the clear is paint as well. Looks like it to me. The heel paint is a pain too.

I already requested another pair or a huge discount. Quite honestly thought, I plan on wearing these way more that once a year or so.

The QC photos we are getting are not necessarily the shoes we may receive so we could all be picking faults on any old shoes, I don't even trust the pics I've had :confused

I've been thinking the same. We won't know for sure unless someone takes one for the team and accepts a bad pair...and we all know that's not happening.

Sorry but i can't agree with you. V2s were ok but you could see it was fake with an instant look.

These v3 are also easily spotted as fake.
I spotted a fake seconds after seeing a pair on ebay.
Fabric is a dead giveaway as is the collars.
These are very easy to spot even though are more accurate looking.

For $600 id expect brighter lighting.
Money doesn't grow on trees and for $600 it better have as good lighting as a DIY pair. That's just my opinion.

I hear you. Something tells me that these will be the end of the line for Chinese manufacturers. I can't see them spending any more money on it, especially since all the big milestone dates for the movie have passed. That being said, I ordered a pair and will enjoy looking at them on a shelf and occasionally wearing them (in the house - LOL) knowing that they're as close as I can afford to having the legitimate, direct from Nike, Mags.

My shoes last shipping update was at Ohio customs. That was at 10:00 this morning. It's possible that they will be delivered today, but more likely it will be tomorrow. Unless they deliver them at a later than usual time. It's a 10 hour drive from the city in Ohio to where I'm at
