There will be a broad discussion regarding that before we commit to anything specifically.
drizzt1234 and I have been focused on making the model in a way that is FX ready, but with all the accoutrements to dress it as a shelf queen and be accurate if desired.
As it stands now: it wouldn’t be too difficult to turn it into a static piece but the methodology is what is in question. Unibody is possible but I don’t know if we would choose that route as the setup is quite different.
That also tends to be
Anakin Starkiller ’s specialty especially with the Hero... so we will discuss his plans. We don’t want anyone to feel like they’re being sheparded into a camp they don’t want to be in.
But for example. If we get the model visually spot on, then produced it hollow for FX.
It would come with everything you would need to make it at least *look* static. And if you wanted the unibody feel, there’s the discussion of manufacturing an aluminum buck to fit inside which might actually be cheaper for us to do.
So it’s still on the table: and there’s a broad discussion forthcoming
Also if it hasn’t been mentioned before: once we are done and a run is attempted (or not) the assets will become available open source. So this model could feasibly become whatever y’all want via open-source
