Hello everyone, I am a Star Wars prop collector and have come across some hand painted character cutouts used for pre-visualization shots of the Death Star Attack in Return of the Jedi. The only reference I have been able to find so far is this short clip:

https://www.starwars.com/video/jedi-videomatics-a-moving-storyboard-narrated-by-ken-ralston

Has anyone come across any other clips, stills, etc of videomatics from the death star attack scenes in ROTJ? Id love to try and match up more, i remember seeing photos of the pilot cutouts but i cant seem to find anything. Thanks in advance, any help is greatly appreciated!!

So far, I have matched two of the cutouts to the above video, admiral Piett and the imperial officer right before the a wing takes down the star destroyer.

sent you a message :)
I’d like to see that one, I’ve only seen the speeder bike animatic.

That's an awesome one too! Wish some more of these videomatics would come to light, its so cool seeing the early renderings of these scenes. I could swear ive seen some stills of the videomatic a wing pilots at some point.

Still on the lookout for references of the ROTJ videomatics if anyone can help :)
