There also these guys from Dark Forces 2. Grave Tuskens

It looks somebody is taking inspiration from the Japanese because you can now build a Falcon model through a monthly subscription.

A moment in time where fans showed the studio they had the power, and that ruining something doesn't make it better.

Forget Ahsoka! Here's what I'm excited for!

The cut scenes have been "upgraded" but the gameplay footage looks identical to my eye. Granted, it's been a long time since I played Dark Forces.

It seems there's the slightest graphical improvement. But the thing that jumps out at me, is they can freely look up and down! If you remember the mouse only controlled looking right and left. You would have to use the keyboard to look vertically.

Yeah that's what I was referring to. When I tried to play it a few years back, when you tried to use the mouse to look up and down it moves you forward and backward. So your character would constantly be backpedaling and moving forward when you didn't want to.

Some thrift store finds. I finally have the "unaltered" editions of the films!

What am I missing, the Rise of Skywalker… The movie didn’t resolve the battle between the Resistance and First Order. In the film, Kylo Ren is the new supreme leader of the First Order. He finds the Sith Holocron/Wayfinder, which takes him to Papa Palpatine. Palpatine offers Kylo Ren an even more impressive fleet, the Final Order. Cue the music, original trilogy star destroyers breaking through the planet Exogol's surface.

Palpatine tells Kylo to kill Rey. Kylo fines her, they fight, she stabs him, Harrison Ford $million dollar$ cameo, Kylo is now Ben Solo again. He goes back to Palpatine, the Resistance fleet follows the trail left by Rey and they fight the Final Order military and win. Palpatine dies for reals this time, Ben Solo sacrifices himself to revive Rey. Rey goes to Tattooine for no real reason. Saga is over

… But doesn’t the First Order still exist, at full strength? Although Hux and Kylo were dead, wouldn’t there still be a leadership structure in place? They would never know that Kylo Ren turned away from the Dark Side and became Ben Solo; he almost immediately dies, so there wasn’t time. The Resistance fought the Final Order /Palpatine‘s fleet, not the First Order, correct?

I seem to recall reading somewhere.... That the Final Order basically absorbed First Order. And the implication at the end was supposed to be that the whole galaxy is finally rising up to do away with First/Final Order. You'll notice in that ending montage, it's all First Order Star Destroyers being taken down.

Certainly, though, there would still be remnants again.

You're attempting to make sense of a completely nonsensical script. How dare you!

There are times I honestly forget those films even exist.

Star Wars rules. Resistance killed Kylo Ren and killed the Empire so the final order is not allowed to fight back. Massages for everyone.

But as Joek3rr mentioned, there would be remnants and given the fact that the First Order remnant was strong enough to wipe out the New Republic government despite being led by two whiny teenagers (making Kylo Ren and Hux jokes was a big mistake) honestly means any rising new Republic would probably be decimated by anyone half-decent in strategy. If Thrawn is still alive post RoS, all hail Emperor Thrawn.

I was looking at an old Star Wars Insider from 2006 and they had a list of the release dates for something like 6 months of book releases. In my head, even though I have or have had those books, I was like "Cool." forgetting it was 2006. Now when they announce new releases of anything SW I just think "Why are they still doing this to us?!?!"
