Yep. The Force created Anakin. A kind of "divine will" thing. Specifically "Cosmic Force." George kinda wanted that to be a substitute for "god" in his universe. But "there was no father".

When in doubt, blame it on the Gungan! But "there was no father".

That sounds like your head cannon, nothing wrong with that but it doesn't jive with the films (or that ridiculous comic).Yep. The Force created Anakin. A kind of "divine will" thing. Specifically "Cosmic Force." George kinda wanted that to be a substitute for "god" in his universe.
The films strongly suggest this. Even the OT suggest that there is an element of the Force that it has a "will." The Phantom Menace really goes into that more. The "will" of the Force is referred to several times. At least by Qui-Gon.That sounds like your head cannon, nothing wrong with that but it doesn't jive with the films (or that ridiculous comic).
This actually points out the failings in story telling from GL and later the team that is making DSW.
After reading the his high republic novel Light of the Jedi (which I am thoroughly embarrassed to admit) I can easily attest that neither is Charles Soule. Not to mention his Darth Vader and several other SW comic series. His take on anything SW is pretty much useless. The Dark Side is not a reliable narrator." - Charles Soule
That’s what I always thought, and what it seemed GL meant to me.I have to agree with Joek3rr in that it was also my impression that Anakin was conceived by the Force itself; an immaculate conception.
Again nothing wrong with your personal head canon, I've never seen these "strong" suggestions. None of the quotes you posted change the poor story telling in the "franchise".The films strongly suggest this. Even the OT suggest that there is an element of the Force that it has a "will." The Phantom Menace really goes into that more. The "will" of the Force is referred to several times. At least by Qui-Gon.
And as far as that comic goes......
"It’s part of my job to ensure the stories are aligned with the overall vision of Star Wars. If the intention was to make a direct connection between Palps and Anakin’s birth, I would have had it removed." - Matt Martin
"I am, in fact, the writer. Matt and I worked closely on this series and this point in particular. I hate explaining stuff in my work in too much detail, but you need to understand the scenario happening here.
The Dark Side is not a reliable narrator." - Charles Soule
He's dead on. It's gotten so bad that it's even turned fans against one another. Then again so much of modern discourse has lost nearly all civility so it comes as no surprise that pop culture would reflect the piss poor behavior of human beings. The Critical Drinker has posted a video about creators purposefully using "toxic fandom" to hide legit criticisms and how some of them even purposefully bait them. I'd like to hear what you guys think about this. I mean, is he right or wrong?
If it was a Practical Effect it could have been Amazing!ROTS never did General Grievous right. I don't know if it's the way they filmed it or what. But he never comes across as frightening. But this, this is terrifying.

Ironically some of the studios are guilty themselves,do as I say not as I do.I agree with the sentiment. Toxic & racism fans definitely exist. But lately the studios have weaponized it to undermine valid criticisms of their content.
This was a great post!!! Not because i agree with it or disagree it's just cool to think about this because i was literally born when ANH was filming and never noticed any differences as a kid...lolSo with Obi-Wan Kenobi out and a 6 iterations of Vader's live action suit. I thought it would be fun to rank the 6. Here's mine.
Number 6. The Obi-Wan Kenobi Vader. Yes it's on the bottom of list. It's not bad. There's just ones I like better. It's a nice mash up fitting for this point in the timeline.

Number 5. ROTJ. Not sure why. This one has never really grabbed my attention. Maybe it's because it's so similar to the ESB. View attachment 1585236
Number 4. Rogue One. This suit is just an awesome creative reimagining of the ANH. They go with what your mind remembers vs how it actually was. And I think it looks darn good. View attachment 1585237
Number 3. ANH. This thing is janky as heck. But it's angular and aggressive. The meanest looking of the bunch. Perfectly fitting for a terrifying villain chasing our heroes. View attachment 1585238
Number 2. ROTS. This one is probably the most controversial one. And I'm putting it in the number 2 slot. Why? Because I'm a prequel kid, and suit had a huge impression on me. And it was everywhere and on everything. They took so many promo photos of this one. Heck it still pops up from time to time on officially licensed stuff. I love it. Yes it's highly idealized and is made to fit that Prequel aesthetic. But it looks good. Particularly on Matthew Stover's book. View attachment 1585239
Number 1. ESB. Taking something that was already good and making better. This suit is my absolute favorite. Maybe not as aggressive as the ANH suit. But it's skull like face is somehow more expressive. Perfectly fitting with Vader's new role in the story as the fallen Anakin Skywalker. This image in particular of Vader beckoning to his son, will forever be etched in my mind. View attachment 1585240
