Yep. The Force created Anakin. A kind of "divine will" thing. Specifically "Cosmic Force." George kinda wanted that to be a substitute for "god" in his universe.
That sounds like your head cannon, nothing wrong with that but it doesn't jive with the films (or that ridiculous comic).
This actually points out the failings in story telling from GL and later the team that is making DSW.

The films strongly suggest this. Even the OT suggest that there is an element of the Force that it has a "will." The Phantom Menace really goes into that more. The "will" of the Force is referred to several times. At least by Qui-Gon.

And as far as that comic goes......
"It’s part of my job to ensure the stories are aligned with the overall vision of Star Wars. If the intention was to make a direct connection between Palps and Anakin’s birth, I would have had it removed." - Matt Martin

"I am, in fact, the writer. Matt and I worked closely on this series and this point in particular. I hate explaining stuff in my work in too much detail, but you need to understand the scenario happening here.

The Dark Side is not a reliable narrator." - Charles Soule

Again nothing wrong with your personal head canon, I've never seen these "strong" suggestions. None of the quotes you posted change the poor story telling in the "franchise".

The Critical Drinker has posted a video about creators purposefully using "toxic fandom" to hide legit criticisms and how some of them even purposefully bait them. I'd like to hear what you guys think about this. I mean, is he right or wrong?

He's dead on. It's gotten so bad that it's even turned fans against one another. Then again so much of modern discourse has lost nearly all civility so it comes as no surprise that pop culture would reflect the piss poor behavior of human beings.

I like to think I'm a generally positive person and try my best to give people the benefit of the doubt, but I'm also enough of a realist to acknowledge how downright awful people can be to one another. I'm speaking from experience too, so this isn't just intellectual posturing.

We need to remember the immortal words of Bill S. Preston Esquire and Ted Theodore Logan:

"Be excellent to each other."

ROTS never did General Grievous right. I don't know if it's the way they filmed it or what. But he never comes across as frightening. But this, this is terrifying.
If it was a Practical Effect it could have been Amazing!
I enjoyed the prequels but some of those soft orangey red pallets they used for sand scenery etc were almost cartoon looking, same with the creatures... Go back to Rick Baker Dick RIP Smith etc..
Too cute n cuddly by far.. Unlike Cantina Aliens who at the time to a young me looked gnarly horrific but believable..

After reading through some of this current thread concerning Anakin, where he came from, what happened and so forth, there is one major thing that stands out to me. I hate to even go here but it's the only way i can communicate this point. If you watch the conversation between Anakin and Palpatine in that weird midichlorian scene, you can't help but come out of it understanding the whole intent of that scene in explaining the answers to where Anakin came from, why he wanted power and the string the emperor was pulling to lure Anakin in...it's all emotional. Anakin missed his mom, his mom gets killed by the Tuskens. He now feels guilty and has visions of Padme dying and wants power to change that from happening. That is what Palpatine uses to bait him in...power over life and death. If a person can convince themselves in this massive undertaking then they can further try to control smaller things as well...pride is a blinder... my point?

If the scenes shown to us overwhelmingly point to or infer to an answer then it doesn't really matter if George Lucas "changed his mind" on how the canon is at that point. The movie was edited and cut and released to the public. So, in the minds of the viewers it's pretty clear the context. Trying to create an argument on what( "is" is )makes no sense anymore. We now know.(Based on the PT releases). Doesn't matter if someone, even the main writer himself, decides i'm not adding this idea to the overall canon...then why in editing did they even put that scene in there? I can't go back and say midichlorians are not really canon anymore when you put it in there. This whole thing to me makes absolutely no sense to me who Anakin(Darth Vader) is in the OT and just creates more ambiguity, not clarity...All we knew is that Anakin succombed to the dark side some how by deception from the Emperor...fine, that's good enough to me. Now add in there was no father...was he created by Plagueius?Palps..the will of the force? What does that matter in the context of the OT and his redemption other than make him look like the most gullible idiot in the universe? To me it makes him less intimidating, less intelligent, less mysterious and more weak. When i watch the OT in just the context of the OT, Vader is completely better in every way...period.

I haven't watched that one yet, but have seen several people addressing this. There clearly are people who are sending racist stuff to some of these actors, however in general Lucasfilm, since the Sequels, has been hiding behind racism and charges of misogyny to try to kill criticism of their bad story writing and badly written characters. The reason most of us either don't like Reva or are skeptical of the character is because she's already done more than Vader did in 20 years to find Obi-Wan. If anyone could have gotten this far, it would be Vader not some wannabe Force user. It's just bad writing. Lando has been on of my favorite characters since I was a kid in the 80s. I even remember having arguments at school that he was a better pilot because he blew up the Death Star. I guess I missed the part where I was supposed to be racist.

So with Obi-Wan Kenobi out and a 6 iterations of Vader's live action suit. I thought it would be fun to rank the 6. Here's mine.

Number 6. The Obi-Wan Kenobi Vader. Yes it's on the bottom of list. It's not bad. There's just ones I like better. It's a nice mash up fitting for this point in the timeline.

Number 5. ROTJ. Not sure why. This one has never really grabbed my attention. Maybe it's because it's so similar to the ESB.

Number 4. Rogue One. This suit is just an awesome creative reimagining of the ANH. They go with what your mind remembers vs how it actually was. And I think it looks darn good.

Number 3. ANH. This thing is janky as heck. But it's angular and aggressive. The meanest looking of the bunch. Perfectly fitting for a terrifying villain chasing our heroes.

Number 2. ROTS. This one is probably the most controversial one. And I'm putting it in the number 2 slot. Why? Because I'm a prequel kid, and suit had a huge impression on me. And it was everywhere and on everything. They took so many promo photos of this one. Heck it still pops up from time to time on officially licensed stuff. I love it. Yes it's highly idealized and is made to fit that Prequel aesthetic. But it looks good. Particularly on Matthew Stover's book.

Number 1. ESB. Taking something that was already good and making better. This suit is my absolute favorite. Maybe not as aggressive as the ANH suit. But it's skull like face is somehow more expressive. Perfectly fitting with Vader's new role in the story as the fallen Anakin Skywalker. This image in particular of Vader beckoning to his son, will forever be etched in my mind.

This was a great post!!! Not because i agree with it or disagree it's just cool to think about this because i was literally born when ANH was filming and never noticed any differences as a kid...lol
