Let's talk old Marvel Star Wars comic for a minute. Carmine Infantino has got to be the WORST artist ever!! My God, how was this man allowed to draw professionally?

Han and Leia on that comic cover look to me like Battfleck and Harley Quinn cosplaying as Han and Leia...which is, admittedly, kind of an interesting story idea.
 
I'm concerned about the generic Jonny Quest bug minion in the back there and the fact that Luke, for some reason, looks like a He-Man action figure.
 
I love the hoojibs. I want Plif to be worked into the canon somehow. About the only decent artist on the run was Gene Day, and he still fell victim to the lackadaisical standards of the late '70s/early '80s.
