Since we're talking all things Star Wars, this is the most Star Wars thing I've found on the internet today and I think I have a new fav song\video.

George Lucas completes his first draft for Revenge of the Jedi

I honestly would enjoy seeing a non canon, elseworlds, Ben Solo series. Basically if he didn’t become Kylo.
So, after ROTJ, the galaxy would branch out into three parallel universes?

Oh, well. It seems everyone had different problems with the first one to begin with.

Perhaps the DSII was equipped with a quantum acceleration drive that split space time when it ruptured, causing a Star Wars multiverse with varying outcomes.

More of a Star Trek style plot, but hey, why not. Then we could ignore the Last Jedi.

I think George was kinda sorta thinking along those lines....ish
"When I said [other people] could make their own Star Wars stories, we decided that, like Star Trek, we would have two universes: My universe and then this other one. They try to make their universe as consistent with mine as possible, but obviously they get enthusiastic and want to go off in other directions."

Along those lines, I'd love to see a Shadows of The Empire movie or series too. It was such a brilliant idea to instead of doing an actual movie, they told the story through everything you would expect with a feature film release. A N64 video game, soundtracks, trading cards, novels, comics and toys with each having a different perspective on the story.

I wonder how much of it they will adapt for the canon. I know that timing of Luke's lightsaber construction has been altered. As they have made the deleted cave build scene canon. While in Shadows if I remember right Luke's already built his saber.

Oh I didn't even think of that.

I'd like Luke's vest canon! Its all about the vests..

They could have cast Michael Ironside as Prince Xizor.

Dude!! I’ve been saying this for years!!!! When the boba fett movie was rumored I figured this is what they were going to do..

I would love to see a small series of shadows.. even include dash! I know many fans didn’t care for him, but I loved his rivalry with the falcon..

This is from the Wookieepedia page for Luke's Lightsaber

During Celebration V, Mark Hamill and George Lucas debuted a deleted scene from Star Wars: Episode VI Return of the Jedi in which Luke activates his lightsaber for the first time. The clip was later included in the saga Blu-ray boxset. The scene was briefly alluded to in Tom Angleberger's canon junior novel adaptation of the film, Return of the Jedi: Beware the Power of the Dark Side!.

Shadows is but one of the excellent stories of the EU that's screen worthy. Still, I think in order for Lucasfilm to save star wars, the series needs a refresh.

An Old Republic series would get my vote.

I've heard multiple rumors of Revan, with Keanu Reeves in the role.

A series based on the Shan family line could be really cool, tying in Bastila Shan with Revan, and Satele Shan with Malgus.

Imagine the possibilities.
