That’s really cool and a great way to preserve the arts as well.

Maybe this could get more people interested and continuing Māori wood carving. That is an issue a lot of cultures seem to be facing (Japan with sword making for example).

I saw that! Looks super cool, but I think the guy in the video is right, from a story perspective it makes sense why they cut it. The end of the dual and Luke’s brush with the dark side doesn’t land as well if he’s capable of getting a headshot in that early in the dual.

This is the first time I’ve seen it in color, there was some footage leaked on Reddit a year or so ago of this but it was in black in white, surprised to see it in color

Honestly I haven't watched it with the sound on yet. (The Mrs. is working from home today.) I've never seen this footage before so I was pretty stoked. I know there are hours and hours of alternate takes/ bloopers/ but it's always fun to see what might have been from my favorite movies.

Oh absolutely! I work in film and it’s always interesting to see what decisions go into the editing of a scene and what gets cut.

So I recently learned that yuzzum was originally in jabbas palace, I thought his cgi appearance in the SE was the first we ever saw him

My girlfriend has a 4k tv and player and have all the movies in 4k, so I’ve been watching them each night this week for the first time in 4k. I swear even the wide screen is wider because in the corner of my eye I caught this..

I NEVER noticed this before!! I had to lighten the screen cap, but I saw this clear as day in 4k!! If there isn’t a difference in screen size with 4k and I’ve over looked this my whole life I can’t believe it!

In From Star Wars to Jedi you can see him being mounted to the wall via a long pole inserted into the wall. I never noticed he had a Blaster rifle though. Lol. That's actually pretty funny.

Very cool! I had never noticed him before either, at least as a practical puppet. I knew he had existed before the SE but never realized he had appeared on screen before 97. Wasn't he originally supposed to be an Endor creature? I thought they had simply reused an abandoned concept for the SE but apparently he's been there all along! I know just about every time I watch the OT, I notice some little thing I never had before.

YES!!!! When I got the wide screen box set, the silver one on vhs I couldn’t believe how many more times you see boba fett in the palace! Lol

I have seen photos of bossk on the sail barge but I have never actually seen bossk on screen

I think there are photos on him in the palace as well, alongside Fett. I think the conclusion was he never appeared onscreen. What's weird is I don't think I've seen any set photos of Dengar, who DOES appear on screen. I think one could potentially conclude at least those three (Bossk, Dengar and Boba Fett) could've been "Jabba men" on his payroll. Maybe IG-88, Zuckuss and 4-LOM were more independent?

I thought I’ve seen bossk in the palace as well.. I think I have jeremey bullocks autograph with bossk on the side of him
