If Han Shows up he and Boba are totally making peace or at least having to work together and parting without malace.
In my head canon, since I was a kid in the 80s, Han and Fett ran jobs together for Jabba. Probably not friendly, but they knew each other well. That's how Fett knew to look for Han in the garbage dump. Probably a trick they pulled on one of their jobs together.
But also in my head canon, Fett isn't a clone and speaks with an Irish accent.
The prequels were a bad dream Bob Newhart had after eating a bad foie gras.

Can I go off on a tangent RE: Anakin? I think the character of Dokuu should have been Anakin instead. Of course you would need to re-write some history, make him a little younger, but basically be a well established Jedi when we meet him. Who was initially trained by Yoda, then later by Obi-wan, and ultimately left the Jedi Order on deep philosophical grounds. Perhaps becoming "gray" in the process.

Perhaps from a wealthy Dynasty, such as Dokuu? Now out on his own, only to be tempted by Darth Sidious. Then Anakin "captures" Obi-wan and tries to turn him to fight Sidious together, and rule the Galaxy. I see so much of Anakin's "potential" storyline in AOTC with Dokuu and Obi-Wan coming face to face.

25 Days of Star Wars Music - day 16

"The Death if Yoda" is one of my favorite pieces from the Original Trilogy. And like most the pieces I like, it's not in the album release. With declining vinyl sales in the 80's, "Return of the Jedi" only got one double sided disc. So it was greatly abbreviated. Thankfully it was included in the Special Edition double CD release. (Which really need to re-released. Along the Ultimate Sith Edition of The Phantom Menace, and extended scores for Attack of the Clones, Revenge of the Sith, The Force Awakens, The Last Jedi, and The Rise of Skywalker. So much great music, that completely absent from the album releases.)

The most savage example of Sith "healing" was in the Darth Bane novels where Darth Bane was dying and he kills a guy's kids in front of him to use the anger/fear/horror and then finished the guy off. It's about time to see a really bad Sith Lord instead of someone that's just an a-hole to people.

BTW, I think it would be cool if Ford did appear in the Boba Fett show (or Mandalorian) and face off with Boba Fett and somehow get revenge on him for taking him to Jabba. Obviously not kill Fett, but get revenge somehow.
Could be a different comic but I thought Darth Bane threatened a healer's kid over a boiling pot with the force to compel him to make a cure for him. Could be a different case.

I always wondered this too.. was yoda one of the originals who saw this prophecy?

Yeah, the source of the prophecy itself is quite vague although Im pretty certain Yoda didnt make it or was even there. The prophecy was apparently made by some mystic and passed down by holocron and only a minority believed in it, one of those being Qui Gon who was a "maverick" in the order. Obi Wan does mention that Qui Gon could have been a Council member had he "toed the line" so to speak. Not sure about Yoda's stance but from the way Mace Windu talks about it and his relatively antagonistic stance regarding Anakin, he probably wasnt a believer.

After a rewatch of 1, I do wonder what would have happened had Anakin stayed unfound on Tatooine or if Qui Gon didnt die. I dont think Palps would have found Anakin had he not been discovered by Qui Gon on Tatooine, nor would he have turned if Qui Gon had been his master. Qui Gon was a much more skilled teacher than Obi Wan and had the will to train Obi Wan while Obi was arguably forced to train Anakin as a last request to his master, having only just become a knight himself.

Really good take, except I have to disagree a little here. It was a mistake for the PT to focus on Anakin, period. A strong Han Solo-like supporting character, sure, but Obi-Wan was supposed to be the focus. With more screen time and a co-writer more skilled at the nuts-and-bolts scaffolding of structuring a narrative story out of a pile of ideas, having Anakin's drive to act be something Obi-Wan has to confront -- including within himself -- and contrast against his own early indoctrination and internalized desire to be "the perfect Jedi" that has also recently crashed up against his disillusionment with the Council and questioning what it means to be a Jedi in the first place. Trying to keep Anakin in check and on the path force him to figure out, for himself and in a hurry, what that path is.

Instead we got a story so reductionist it's almost puerile. Right up there with time-travel, too, is prophecies and visions. Bad storytelling mechanic. Someone, somewhere, in that person's/those people's circle would be on-hand to point out that the more you try to prevent a prophecy or vision from coming true, the more likely you are to fulfill it. So having two-thirds of the PT be about Anakin trying to keep his visions from coming true had me yelling at the screen -- even imagined, in a crowded theater -- that that doesn't work. On top of the stuff that contradicted the OT or was just stupid, Anakin doesn't work as the central focus. He doesn't have enough nuance to carry the story as the Main Character. And the one who does and should ends up losing screen time in which that can be developed and shown to focus on "Anakin misses his mommy and doesn't want his secret wife to die in vague circumstances".

Yeah good points. I guess I think the Prequel trilogy should have focused only on Obi Wan's point of view (like the Cracked retelling did) or go full into just Anakin's POV but with a rewrite of his backstory and role (basically remove the prophecy stuff). Also agree that going the chosen prophecy route was bad. Anakin could have just been a powerful jedi and good friend gone rouge through good intentions. Maybe Lucas didnt think the stakes would be high enough or liked to maintain the idea of Star Wars as legends with the characters suffering traditional tragedies (denying and unintentionally realizing prophesies is common for tragic characters).

PT definitely missed the mark in really developing character relationships. The key relationship here is Obi Wan and Anakin with the final duel being incredibly tragic. Obi Wan and Anakin dont really spend that much time together on screen and the relationship is alot of tell not show.

I like the idea of the "Star Wars Stories" being one-off vignettes focusing on something outside the main narrative of the saga. Rogue One would've been good (under a different title, as I've whinged on about before), with the main narrative of that episode in the saga being about the Rebellion planning and mounting the attack, Obi-Wan refusing Bail Organa's request to actively involve himself, Rebel ground assets getting a copy of the Death Star plans offplanet and then transmitted to the Tantive IV when their capture/destruction seemed imminent, but then they were disabled and the Devastator went in immediate pursuit of Leia's ship rather than deal with them. Then the "SWS" film could be the focus on who the team was, how they got together, how they pulled off the job, and where they ended up.

I also like the idea of a SWS, after the Prequels had been properly made, and perhaps filmed simultaneously and finished/released later, of a stripped-down take on those events from Anakin's/Vader's POV. We can get agonizing moments like him getting sealed into his life-support suit that otherwise ruin the ESB reveal over in the main saga. Maybe released right after Vader dies, as a sort of "life flashing before his eyes" sort of thing.

But yeah, my takeaway from the PT was too much happening onscreen that was better suited for off, and too much that should have been happening onscreen happening off instead. HeartBlade, excellent points and I agree wholeheartedly. blewis17, I also agree with your notion, and it's part of what I'd do in a SWS focusing on Anakin's viewpoint, as that would, unfortunately, spoil the Vader-is-Anakin reveal way too early in the story.

25 Days of Star Wars Music - day 17

"The TIE Fighter Attack" just rocks. It's one of the best pieces of action music from the first film. It's so good, it's been reused three different times.

25 Days of Star Wars Music - day 18

The music for The Last Jedi was unique for me. In that I wasn't patient, and I listened to the score before the film. It made for a different experience. As I listened to the music completely without context, I would find bits that stuck out to me. Which I then looked for when I saw the film. This particular upload is from the full score, but the most can be found on the official album. The part I really love is those low brass, maybe some strings too, right before Luke walks out of the shadows. It's just a short little piece, but I love it. It seems that's how it often is for me and film scores. The bits I love the most are often these short one off bits.

25 Days of Star Wars Music - day 19

Another awesome piece from Revenge of the Sith, that sadly didn't make the official album release. Just so perfectly dark and foreboding. The last time Obi-Wan and Anakin will see each other as friends.

25 Days of Star Wars Music - day 20

More Revenge of the Sith today. "The Battle of the Heroes" is right up their with the "Duel of the Fates." And this track containes probably my favorite version. Starting at at about 1:17. The orchestra just sounds so full, with some bells accenting the percussion. It's, short, but 1000% percent epic.

25 Days of Star Wars Music - day 21

This piece by Gordy Haab. From Jedi Fallen Order. Talk about musical textures here. The strings sounds tortured, almost like the Second Sister is screaming in pain. Perfect for a Jedi that's been twisted into a servant of the dark side.

25 Days of Star Wars Music - day 23

I love this piece from TLJ. From Snoke's theme to the Force theme, suggesting to us this alliance has larger importance, and is possibly the will of the Force. Then it goes in a frantic, driving, action music with some percussion. And then a bit of Rey's theme, slightly strained, she's winning, bust just barely.... Love it.
