These actors may have actual enthusiasm for what they're talking about but the directors are probably in their ears yelling "Step it up!." It's like watching ridiculously intense anime where the emotions are completely out of touch with reality (not knocking anime some of it is truly amazing).
Their enthusiasm may be real and they may be hired to sell something but you can always sniff when that enthusiasm is tempered with bad direction. Plus it doesn't help when they're selling a turd.

I'm going to guess that a Producer (or a team of producers) directed this, hence the bad direction.

Most likely. I mean I can't fault the actor entirely. They're paid to do a job and there's only so much an actor can improvise to make terrible material work. Plus it's a commercial, not a movie or show.

Oh, I’m sure the fantastic ideas for the Disney Star Cruiser Hotel may be found on this white board, somewhere…including activities and how best to promote it…

I'm gonna need some hard evidence.
It doesn't say "Nike Air Force 1 is Female", it says "THE FORCE is Female".

The event is the Archer Film Festival. Nike is a sponsor, hence the shirts.

For the record I will never argue that a work of fiction or film can't or shouldn't be popular or financially successful. Those two ideas are not mutually exclusive. Any sensible artist's dream is to find an audience and make a living showcasing their art. What I object so strongly to is the idea that commercial films have to be so insanely dumb in order to make money or that as long as it makes money the content doesn't matter.
