Considering doing these as shifters for cars. I've gotten a few requests. I'd scale it up a bit, to 50mm, and change the threads. I'll start an interest thread too
 
Here's a great display idea if you have the Mattel doll. You can get a 1/2" x 1" hex bolt at Home Depot for 46 cents. I bore a hole big enough to push the bolt through on his hand and threaded the knob on.
