Got my activation switches in the mail today, very slick. Chassis comes next week and then I'll be ordering all my new soldering equipment and board, speaker, etc.

Is there a place to get the mylar tape for the clamp on the ESB version?
I was looking for this as well. Amazon has some but I'm not sure if this would turn out screen accurate or not (and 72 yards of it seems excessive for a small build).

New gear today: 30AWG wire, new soldering iron with fine point tip, multimeter, solder sucker, helping hand, new wire strippers.
Converting my messy tool box into an electrical kit.
And now I'm really starting to want to re-do my Luke ROTJ hero, because this wire should make everything so much easier than the 22AWG stuff I used in that one.

That's the one build I always wanted to do was a ROTJ Luke Hero. Consider me jealous!

It's all really basic - SF hilt w/NBv2 and 2xG XPE2 - I just want to rewire the whole thing because it's so messy inside.

I think I made a mistake somewhere in the switch wiring. Though I'm unsure if it's a bad or cool mistake. I noticed today that all I have to do is touch my finger on the button, no pressure, and it'll turn on.

The one that came with th 2.0. It's just weird and cool at the same time.

Yeah sounds like a short. Probably a positive hitting part of the switch housing. Maybe your finger is completing the circuit. Or the more likely cause is there is something screwed up under the switch and you are putting just enough pressure to effect something.

Those using the Darth Ryo chassis - what kind of glue are you using to attach your speaker (TCSS 28mm premium)? Mine should be here today (very excited to see how it comes out).
