Great to see! Here is my replacement. First thing I saw was that the plastic wrap around the helmet is gone.
This is the helmet that I and others should have received the first time.

They may not have had a choice if they had to replace more than they had extras available. If they are repairing helmets that had issues, hopefully the texture from the peeled off paint isn't an issue.Pushed back to July-August by Sideshow.
Anyone else get the feeling EFX is very quickly and quietly trying to repair helmets damaged by the plastic wrapping? Obviously it is the correct thing to do, but would be cool if they were more transparent about it.

Just to clarify my post, I have absolutely no issue with them repairing the damaged helmets. Personally I plan to repaint mine anyways so the paint damage wouldn’t matter either way.
All I’m really trying to say is a post from EFX acknowledging the issue and giving an updated estimate for delivery would be nice.
Thanks for the heads-up, I guess I can expect a similar timeframe (or later) from Spec FictionPushed back to July-August by Sideshow.
I was thinking the sameThis is a case where it might be better to not be among the earliest to receive the item.
I just received the tracking info from Spec Fiction today. Thanks for the heads-up, I guess I can expect a similar timeframe (or later) from Spec Fiction

Or upon arrival to EFX they opened all the boxes to remove the wrap and then re-sealedI guess they realized the issue with the plastic while the helmets were still being produced if they already have ones without the plastic. Maybe they produced more to allow for replacements of the ones with plastic.
I would really hope they did, but so far Sideshow doesn't say they're aware of the issue or that they can guarantee that the helmets they ship out don't have the issue. I really hope we don't have to send it back to get it replaced...Or upon arrival to EFX they opened all the boxes to remove the wrap and then re-sealed
