Assassin's Creed 2 "hidden blade" WIP

You are kidding me right? That is photoshoped, or CGI, or a HALLUCINATION!

Truly incredible work.

Ramiel truky has mad skills. His artwork is amazing (he really should do a graphic novel about Ezio) and he is quite the sculptor.

He probably made a deal with a crossroads demon to be this talented.

Seriously, who wants to trade my soul for only half this mans talent.
This is absolutely stunning. I will follow this with great great great interest.
Keep up the incredible work.

I had the same holy %#@! reaction when I saw your sculpt. Really one of the best sculpting jobs I've ever seen for a prop. :thumbsup

I second that.
Also, I opened this thinking it would be another Tai Chi sword cut up and taped to someone's wrist. (not that there's anything wrong with that)
Needless to say I was stunned. Beautiful work.

WOW!:eek
I know I'm not here that often, but that's a LOT of comments I've missed!!!
First of all THANK YOU!
Then... This project is definately NOT dead, it's just "on hold", becauseI've so much to do at work and in my life that I didn't have the time to make any real progresses on the hidden blade.
I'm still thinking on how to make a "working" mechanism, but I'm kinda stuck with it, so this has to be just a "static" piece for the moment.
And as soon as I have some spare time I will definately make some other work on it.

Thanks again for the nice words, that really means a lot! :)

That is truly outstanding, Ramiel. Makes ones mouth go :eek

PLEASE update us as soon as you can get back to this beautiful piece.

I have some links to the mechanism--PM me for details.

Thanks!
I really wish I had more time to work on it, but recently I'm really really busy with work and the "refreshing" of my room...

I'm seriously interested in finish it ASAP ;)

By the way I use regular sculpting tools (the ones that resemble dental instruments), rubber brushes and nail-art instruments and everything that could come in handy (needles and such)... :)

Thanks for your interest and the nice words guys! :$

Wow.... You have an incredible gift my friend. Keep up the good work! I'd love to know when/if you figure out the copying process. I would be very interested in buying one! :) Hope to see an update soon!

Yes, you do. I have a love/hate relationship with sculpey. I've had so many project chip or fall apart because it seems to be fragile and not be as durable as I'd like. But the details in this are pretty damn amazing. The small french inlay impressed me the most. I can't wait to see what the final look of it will be.
