I'm still wondering about the blade itself... I think I can model it, and find someone able to help me making a resin copy, but I'm thinking of trying to find someone who could work metal and model in 3D the parts to make a metal one (machined or else, don't know yet...)

Suggestions?

Is there a chance you could recess he area on the shaft that you had stippled? it'll give the area more depth & dimension!

what on earth are you using to sculpt those? sewing needles?

Actually... Yes, I used needles!

And usual sculpting tools of course

And Indeed you're right! That area needs to be recessed, probably I'll do it after baking it, so I could cut it out and glue it slightly recessed in the main body

I have a friend who's making an assasins creed costume, but I don't think he'll get to see this- I don't want him to throw in the towel too early in the game! Great Work!

I would love to finish this prop, but I think I can work on it again only on November, been busy with work and Halloween...
But I would like to make also METAL copies of it, the only problem is that I don't have the reources to do so.
Maybe we could search a solution together for this problem!
