Assassin's Creed 2 "hidden blade" WIP

Dude this is seriously amazing! I sculpted one of these bad boys myself but yours puts mine to shame XD But you've inspired me to go back and rework it (I was actually planning to recast it anyway since my mold tore apart on me and I never got a cast that I was 100% happy with, none of the finer details transfered since I was using brush on 40 which doesnt pick up detail as well as some other mold making materials. )

I think you could make good money on these if you got someone to help you make a mold from it.

Forcebewitya.

Oh, HEYL-YES! :eek

You should consider sculpting some Tomb Raider props like the Clock of Ages and Triangle of Light... or anything Hellboy Kroenen related.

Can't think of any other highly-ornate sci-fi props at the moment I'd want, but I will!

Bloody hell the detail is amazing, love the assassin creed games. Seen a couple of costumes made but the detail was always lacking and it never looked quite like I pictured it but this is totally spot on. I'm really impressed!

Wow guys!
Thank you all very much!
I didn't expect all this positive feedback!:eek
Thanks!:$
I'll try to work on it a little more as soon as I get home, I already did the little "key" thing on the back of this part, it needs to be baked, then I'll move onto the blade itself, and (if the sculpey will last enough) I'll try to do the metal parts of the upper gauntlet, the "decorations" so to speak... I still have to find the right leather for the gauntlet itself, but I'll try to figure it out:D

@ SupMyNerfHerder: I already worked on the triangle of light with another forum member, I did the design work in Illustrator and he did the laser cutting work and final assembly, you can see it here: http://www.therpf.com/f9/wip-tomb-raider-triangle-light-23226/
;)

Thanks again guys!!!

I would be happy with just 1/10th of your talent ;) What did you use for the "arm" besides foil?

Thank you all very much, it's really flattering:$

A small update:
The little key-thing on the back:)

In case you are unfamiliar with this part, it is this one:

Soon I'll move onto the blade itself:)
Till then I hope you like it:)

Amazing detail. I loved the armor/gear in AC2. So cool, gotta love the renaissance :)

Ramiel, awesome modeling, really. But before you kick yourself and make molds of that, and I definitely want to rain on your parade, but I think it´s an eagle we are looking at. Something like this

or this

I noticed that the small curls on the bottom looked like feet, and you already have that head correct place and orientation.

But even if you don´t revisit that part the overall prop will look awesome. I´ll never ever touch any sculpting material, just because I saw you making that prop...

That is impressive....most impressive!

Seriously it looks amazing and actually looks like it was printed from a 3d printer (not that one could match your detailing though) but just because how sharp and crisp everything it.

Great work! Question is...are you going to get an extending blade!:p

Thank you all again, I'm really speechless:)

ManfromNaboo I think your observations make GREAT sense, I think I can re-model some parts of it with no problems, thanks for the input!;)
Especially I like the cufflink you posted!:cool

Some updates to the project, working on the revisioned "key" and on the main body of the hidden blade... All this stuff needs some minor tweaking and a quick trip to the oven:D
