Nostromo helmet on a Space 1999 spacesuit?!? Well there's something you don't see everyday.

I recently got one of these helmets, too. As amazing as it looks in pictures, to actually have it in hand is just mind blowing. The craftsmanship and finishing work is superb! This is one of the nicest props I've ever seen, let alone owned.

Fantastic work, and completely outta my reach.
Not to hijack, but were the "OUTLAND" space suit helmets the same size?
At first glance they appear to have much less detailing, but seem almost exactly the same shape. I'd like to try my luck at scratchbuilding one of those...

Seeing this in person, it does look a bit..."girlie". :lol However, it's dead on accurate. I told Steve that the movie is so dark I didn't even KNOW they were different colors until last year!

Lambert - blue/teal
Dallas - pink/salmon
Kane - yellow/mustard
Ripley - white/white

WOW, I've discovered those great photos 2 minutes ago...

Amazing job Danita (and Steve, of course !), I'm more excited than ever to own one of those amazing suits in the (near) future !!!

BTW guys, got the shoulders and plate armor a few days ago from Richie, they're awesome !!! I'll post pics here as soon as I'm able to put a hand on a mannequin, these things require a very tall "action figure" to be displayed properly at home !!!

Richie aka... Dallas.

There is still some work needing to complete the soft parts but here is a good preview.

Additionally, I am trying to knock out a kid size pack for the Ripley costume before DC.

I hope you don't mind if I detest you just a little bit for your astonishing talent. I tried to make these during the theater run, but it was way too complex to even get started.

If I thought my wife would let me have one more prop, this would be it.
