Don't get me wrong -- I think your work on these Nostromo suits is MUCH cooler. But seeing the upper half of the white Ripley suit on the abbreviated mannequin, with the illusion of the long arms and short legs, standing next to Richie, made me think of Pericles... :lol

Easily one of the most impressive recreations I have ever seen. The amount of work and perfection put into these costumes is nothing short of top-notch professionalism.

Danita not being into props took this on and has exceeded any expectations I ever had.
It was a cool prop display until she stepped up and made it into the costumes they are. Thanks Danita.

I want to add. Those of you who go to DC be sure to check out our side arms. Morgan13 came down the other weekend and we had a wonderful visit. He brought Richie and myself a couple of guns he did. What a great guy! All I can say is he is a master of his art! I will post some pictures soon.

Additonally, He is making Danita a Ripley harpoon gun for her costume to use this coming weekend.

Thanks. The suits are very weathered. It is hard to tell due to the lighting. Also these bad boys are HOT. 6 hours in them both nights. Make for a very thirsty person.

I'm finding it hard to put into words how amazing those costumes look - and all three of you together looks simply stunning!

I know I've said it before but I can't begin to imagine how much research, hard work and dedication must have gone in to this to make these costumes happen.

I wanted to add my thanks to Steve and Danita for the hard work on this suit. At times it seemed we took 2 steps back for every step foreward but were pretty much done with the project in terms of research and construction.

The suits were incrediblly hot and uncomfortable but worth the effort. Mine will pretty much go up for display where I can admire it WITHOUT perspiring!!!

We were fortunate enough to win Best of Show and Best Sci-Fi costume for DC. It was an honor to do so.
