1/1 scale ParagonFX Group Blade Runner blaster mod and paint

This is a mod and paint I did of the ParagonFX Group water gun pistol replica of Deckard's blaster from Blade Runner. I added the working red LEDs on the sides and bottom, as well as the green LEDs on the 1 side. The green LEDs work independently so it can be displayed with only red as in the movie, or all LEDs lit.

Question...

Did you consider replacing the grips?

I ordered the Paragon Root Beer grips with thoughts of using them on my H20 BR gun. Realized the orange plastic grips are just shells, and the main body of the gun has the "sub form" (not sure how else to say) of the grips; which would need to be removed...
