Looking at the slight difference in the angle of the grip face and backstrap I'm going to go with PPK.

You would think they would start hyping it soonThis has got to be one of the skyfall props factory entertainment has planned. I wonder if they'll release it around the release of the movie.

Do tell..It's a PPKS. Look carefully everyone. There is one massive giveaway.
I'm not very knowledgeable on these, but what does the 'under license of' mean, etched on the slide?
Does this mean that 'third party' companies are making these?
Could this account for the differences?
This slide at the rear looks like the PPK/s then on this one and no extra bevel near the trigger. The slides should be the same as the original PPK/s was a PPK slide on a PP frame.

So the young brat of a Q had his facts right afterall... =)
I switch camps: it's a PPK/s

There is more evidence that this is a PPK/s than a PPK. I contacted some PPK enthusiasts as well and they tend to agree on the PPk/s. So I stand corrected, however it looks like Bond does use a standard PPK in the opening from what I can see in these pictures. Q must upgrade him after he comes back.
Does this mean that someone steals his PPK and uses it against him perhaps? Hence the need for an ID safety mechanism.

oh dear.
where is that pic from?
