Rebel pilot complete and priming has commenced. I sprayed black primer on the fuselage with hope to build a base shadow in the deepest, darkest reaches of Y-Wing depths.

Construction is 99% done. Engines, cockpit, and pilot painted. Finish painting is all that remains. I just booked a room in Orlando for Modelpalooza Orlando 2021 and plan to bring this model.

Base paint mostly complete. I started the weathering but only have 2 days left before ModelPalooza. Ugh. I will post the pre-trip, final 'this is all I can do in 4 days' result sometime late Thursday evening.

Here's the final entry at Modelpalooza 2021 in Orlando this past weekend. Won Gold.

I was rushed to get this paint done in 4 nights. Met some great studio scale folks at Modelpalooza and we chatted about weathering, ILM styling, etc. I'll refine this paint job in the coming days.
