Wolverine all day baby! Jackets, belts, claws, oh my.

That Jacket looks great man ! im just getting all the bits sorted for my Logan attire, ive given up on trying to find the screen accurate dark red shirt he wears in origins, looks like theres two versions, one with a very faint black check that he has on in the barn before the helicopter scene, then later in the film it looks like a dark red shirt with black swirly patterns on ?

Anyway, im just trying to figure out what type of black boots he wears in the film, theres not many good shots of them, sometimes they look like stylish cowboy / italian type boots, but i thought more of a work / combat type boot would be better

This is me at a little photoshoot to promote a convention thats happening in October, it was quite short notice so my hair is too short and a big lack of face fuzz, which are all growing as i type..... lol

I'll bet that dude with the Michael Myers mask on is really handsome under there. I don't know why, just have a second sight about these things....

I just wonder if Wolverine will have the adamantium claws in DOFP. I wished we could see that in the trailers, I have seen Bryan Singer holding the prop and they are metal, I just wonder if they will explain how they were re-bonded if he has metal claws in this one.

That's simple, Magneto will fix it.

I have a pair like the first ones in your post, the dark brown color. I'm about positive those are the same boots that used in the movie, which commonbub pointed out. They are great boots! I just don't understand why The Wolverine didn't parenter with Wolverine boots for the movie.

I was mix n matching and making my own Wolverine designs from the picture I posted the other day. Very fun stuff once u find some good ideas! Still waiting for that DoFP suit to surface!

@ TheWolverine that is really cool! I thought I would post my claw collection.
Bone Claws.png Costume Bone Claws
Metal Claws.png Steel Claws that came out when X2 was in theaters
Keratin Claws.png My little brother made me these "Keratin Claws" out of clay. They are based on the actual animal wolverine's claws. It's like a more realistic and animistic version of Wolverine's claws. They also look like the bone claws Wolverine had in the Origin comic when he first pops them.

TheWolverine- your collection is insane! Do you have any favorite claws out of the whole bunch? Any stand outs amount the bunch?

Okay sold my Wested jacket awhile back...Vanson X1 on the way! I cruised through this thread...maybe I missed it...any Vanson distressing tips?
Especially on the stripes?

Dude, I just went up to the store for a movie, snacks and drinks...there are all kinds of mutants in my neighborhood...thinking it's time to move.
Course they'll probably just steal my jacket...so retractable claws have now become top priority

I posted this over at filmjackets but it might help you:

What I do with the amber tan is to go over it with acetone to break up or mellow out the solidity of the color, concentrating on the areas that would get the most wear naturally. Then I use a sponge with Fiebings Dark Brown leather dye which has been diluted slightly with rubbing alchohol and go over the amber tan. Then before the dye has a chance to dry I rub it lightly with a cloth which has been dampened with acetone until I get the look that I'm after. Sometimes I have to do it a few times to get the right effect. Always have adequate ventilation and wear chemical/rubber gloves when working with acetone.

Here's a shot of the amber tan area on the back of the jacket.
