So maybe I'm just completely missing something here, but I'll ask anyway. The X-1 that Heron is selling now, is this their updated pattern? I looked on their site a few days ago and to me, the picture looked like the pattern they've been using for a couple years. I just checked again now and the X-1 isn't even listed anymore.

Thanks Soldier, I'm not really interested in another Origins jacket. I bought a cheap one from ebay back in '09. Not my best purchase one of the zippers broke, but when I tried to return it the seller just gave me my money back and let me keep the jacket and I had the zippers replaced. I have wore it a lot since then, it's still a nice jacket all and all (and it being basically free doesn't hurt either). Solider - two things: 1. If the site you support made an X1 or an X2 I'd probably be all over it, but I don't love the Origins design. Also 2. I can't get past the stripey-ness of your jacket's coloration (in your video review, look at your left chest-shoulder area especially at 1:35 to 1:39 or so) - is that limited to just your personal jacket or do all of their jackets have some of that?

A bit late to the black suit party....But since Wolverine is about to get it's release in Japan, I figured it was appropriate to have something to show for opening day.....(I've seen it when I was back home a couple of weeks ago, but they'll have extra gear at the Japanese screenings, and I'd like to pick some of it up...So I'll be going again..)

It does not have the same stripy effect as soldiers. It is a very heavy leather, comparable to my Shift motorcycle jacket. It fits my shoulders and chest perfect but I got a bit longer in the arms to accomdate for actually riding in it. I am very happy with it and have been wearing it everywhere much to the disgust of my girlfriend.

Oh and ignore the girly bedspread in the picture. It was part of the negotiations that I had to endure with the missus to get the jacket.

That jacket is just like mine, without the striped pattern. That will be your favorite jacket forever lol. Take some pic in it man that jacket looks awesome!!!

I spoke to Wolvjaclet.com and at the time that's what the distributor had had on hand in the distressed dark brown leather. so no your jacket is the jacket they are selling. mine is a few years old.

So this was the suit designed for hugh to wear in the final scenes of The Wolverine that was never used. Cool but this never really would've worked. Looks goofy.

That is cool, I'm with you it would never work in X-Men. Oddly enough I could see it working in Avengers if Wolverine was involved with Avengers, it reminds me of Captain America's suit. I'm glad they didn't use it in The Wolverine, I wonder if he was going to wear it to the fight with Silver Samurai or what? It's a shame that about every superhero costume can be translated to the big screen except X-Men, I think their suits are too cartoon like in the comics. Batman and Superman's costumes work in movies, but I think Wolverine being in the yellow suit would be goofy. However, we might see him in a yellow in blue suit in the new movies. This suit here looks like the suit his son Jimmy wears in Ultimate X-Men.

I agreed with you on it being goofy, the only reason why I said the blue and yellow suit could work in avengers is because of the suits they wear is more cartoony than X-Men. The X-Men First Class are blue and yellow and it looks like Wolverine is sporting a blue and yellow suit in X-Men DOFP. I agree with you on the Ultimate suit, love that one I could see them use that. I loved the suit he wore in the last seasons of X-Men: Evolution. The mask might not work, but I'm with you on the whole muted colors could work. Something like this:
The odd thing is I really don't like the suit you posted that was unused in The Wolverine, but I like the one used in Super Power Beat down.
