cool thx for the post. Found one I'll be getting, even though it's not on the exact date as my birthday, it's close enough in the same month based on what you posted.

I did notice that. The Rowan/Elder and Alder/Oak, are the same aswell. Maybe someone got a little lazy in the design department :confused

I wonder if the wands actually look the same or if the person uploading the pictures onto the website made a mistake and uploaded two of the same pictures.
 
After looking at some flicker pictures I think that's the case. So if your not sure I'd wait for the fix, they'll probably add more for sale as well since it probably just went up.
 
I can see they took inspiration and designs from existing harry potter film ones. the Holly and Birch handle are taken from fred or george's wands and the wand called the Vine has the handle design of Umbridge's. The Elder though is a wand design which is based from the unknown deatheater wand and is a wand Noble is yet to produce (hopefully)

Another thing that bugs me is that the wands are still made of resin. I can see that there is an expense and easy production en masse, but resin, like the Noble wands is very fragile!:cry

I don't see why they could not have taken advantage of a wand producing place such as Alivans - some are reasonably affordable!

Vortex, that is because all of those wands are made on a lathe, only a completely cylindrical pattern is possible. None of the exact, molded intricacies of the Noble wands.

Plus, we are still talking about prop replicas, NOT toys. They are good for costuming, but tumbling around. I think the price range fools some people.

yea it's kinda surprising that they don't :unsure have those for sale. Betcha they might eventually but probably wasn't high up on the list for things to have for sale when the section opened.
