TIE Advanced Build Log (Nice-N Base with Modifications)

HI again folks.
I thought I would share a little video of the completed model. Thanks to Vectorzero for the chance to make such a wicked looking thing. Hope you guys like it.

To give you an idea of the obsessive attention to detail Flyscriber puts into his builds, here's the packaging for the TIE and TIE advanced in the back of the Land Rover. Protection is guaranteed!

And this is how the packaging goes together. The model is locked into place using the bottom and rear armature points. No chance of moving.

And the stand we designed to reflect the Imperial aesthetic. The threaded portion screws into the model. The model is then slotted into the stand and the grub screw holds it in position. All super slick. Now to set the lights up for some photos.

I love the mounting system! I've always mounted mine from underneath, but I really like the rear mount idea. I might have to steal that if I ever finish my TIE Fighter.

This is a old but awesome resource thread! Taking a shot, does anyone have instructions for the Nice'n TIE X1??

I have the kit but wasnt sure if I just didnt get any instructions or this thing is meant to be built by the informed user.

No Instructions with these as far as im aware. Just keep checking the reference and go for it. Assemble three times and glue once. ;-)
