ok, here is something I've been wanting to do for a looooong time.
This is the very first all-in-the-hilt wireless saber sound module. Sounds are synchronized with the saber blade itself.. I am using a bluetooth radio mounted to my patented wireless saber module. The upgraded wireless module also hooks into my blade driver board to synchronize all events: power up/down, swings, clashes, etc. All the saber has is a single pushbutton for on/off - everything else is automated.
I am hoping to use this saber for choreographed fight sequences. The really cool thing is that you can talk back to the saber hilt from the PC hub. That means you can turn the saber on/off remotely, play swing sounds, clash sounds at will, etc. I hope it will give a whole new dimension to the type of saber demos we can do.
I think I played with the saber for a good hour inside with sounds playing out of my stereo. Anyway here is a short clip showing some of the wireless features working:
